Hitman series Megathread - "Names are for friends, so i don't need one" - Games

I just realized how incredibly amazing the storyline and the ending of Codename 47 is. The mysterious escape, the subtle hints here and there, and then the full-blown finale. You, trapped in the basement of the very asylum you escaped in the beginning, looking for the answer to what the hell is going on. Ort-Meyer rambling on over the intercom about his insane plans for the humanity while countless 48-clones, bald and suited like you, charge at you with a mad grin. The intensity of saving every bullet because you are not sure when this nightmare will stop, and then, finally seeing through Ort-Meyers defensive gas-contraption and facing your creator. As he comes to greet you as his favorite 48-clone, you turn out to be the very thing he was trying to protect himself from, barely realizing it before you litter him with bullets. And him. On the floor bleeding. You, bending over his body. A tender lift. The snap of a neck. The end. The stories of the other games might be cheesy, but every time they reference the Ort-Meyer encounter, and the general story of Hitmans origins, I can't help but get all excited. I know Hitman wouldn't be the same without that in the back of my head. It's a shame the first game hasn't aged so well. You could try activate it with a japanese VPN, it's what I do (if keys I buy are from Russia)

We've seen some sillier stuff happen before.

not a bad thing considering hand to hand combat is QTE. 5 more days...

Saw the video now too. The game's about making your own decisions and if you wanna fistfight a wrestler well who's to say you can't. But Silent Assassin? Come on.

The new Power Unlimited has a cover-story of Hitman Absolution, if there is one Game Magazine i trust it would be Power Unlimited.
