I tried to cancel my pre-order a couple of days ago and was told I couldn't. I decided to go retail so I won't have to download more than 10GB(since I have a monthly cap).

I pre-ordered Dishonored from them and I was able to pre-load the game, so it differs from game to game.
So, why is 47s silverballer not silver this time? It looks like a wood grip and a more dark grey slide and shit.
This game confuses me, I can take someone out with an accident. (Being electrocuted/Something dropping on them, etc) And only get a professional kill, if I find the guy and just shoot him in the head with my silverballers, I get Silent Assassin.
How big is the game anyway?
Pre-load was about 12 gigs.

If so that'll be the reason.

Finally got my first SA on Sniper Challenge, never bothered to figure out the guys around the pond before.
The only thing I'm seeing that I might be disappointed about is the fact that you can't really "hide in plain sight" anymore. At least not as much as in Blood Money.
I think hiding in plain sight was one of the most important mechanics in Blood Money, I'll definitely miss it, but considering that we won't have many sandbox levels anyway...
http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2012/11/18/wot-i-think-hitman-absolution/ Doesn't sound very good...
It confirms my worries that the game suffers from an identity crisis. It wants to be blood money 2, but at the same time something entirely new. Sadly the game doesn't capture this well enough, which means the sequel will either be more like the old ones, or hopefully a perfected formula.
for me it unlocks 2AM on a tuesday how unfortunate that i'll be sick on that tuesday
If I skipped school literally everyone in my class would know it was on purpose due to Hitman. D:

Damn, I want to play this now.. is 20th the earliest release date or can I use an VPN to get it earlier?
Back up.
WTF? He's praising the theme park tutorial as being open? It was a completely linear level that wouldn't let you progress until you did exactly what it told you to. People are also saying it doesn't have the 'huge open levels of Blood Money'. Excuse me? Blood Money only had a couple of large levels and even then they weren't that big. There's some rediculous rose-tinted glasses complaining going on from reviewers. I mean I replayed Blood Money last week and it's not nearly as open and freeform as people make it out to be, and from what I've seen Absolution is very similar level design wise.

I'm also noticing there's a lot of people complaining about it not being exactly like Blood Money, which annoys me. I mean, it'd obviously be bad if they changed the entire game however that's not the case. I want this to be a sequel / a new game not an expansion pack or Hitman Blood Money: The Lost Levels.
WTF? He's praising the theme park tutorial as being open? It was a completely linear level that wouldn't let you progress until you did exactly what it told you to.
He wasn't talking about how open the levels were, but how the targets had a story/background - for example the whole going bankrupt, resorting to making deals with gangs stuff of the theme park guy.
Reviews are all over the freaking board. Looks like this is the kind of game built for the fans, and considering I'm a huge fan, I'll make sure to have it preloaded for release.
http://www.pcgamer.com/review/hitman-absolution-review/ 66/100.
He did have some good points, but yeah. Can't wait to try the game myself and make my own "review" of it.
This is another one of those games you'll just have to play for yourself. Last Year Dead Island was one of those games that got mixed reviews and it wound up being one of my favorites. Here's hoping history repeats itself.
