Working my way through Absolution. Progress is slow because, in my opinion, it's atrocious.

[sp]New disguise system doesn't make any sense, still using flawed checkpoint system, AI is actually worse than previous games, inclusion of quicktime events, story is predictable and lacks depth, linear levels (so far), completely redundant 'instinct' game mechanic, etc. The list goes on.[/sp]

All my own opinion of course. And it really is a shame because I loved the earlier games.

Face it but this game has 5x more story then Blood Money or any other Hitman game.
AI is decent, nothing wrong with them since they don't really need to be smarter then what they are now, if they were the game would be even harder as it already is.
Disguise system has been talked over a million times, its a good system but needs a little tweaking and instinct is replacing the map.

I don't know man but i got a feeling you were just looking for bad things to mention about this game.

I mean what do you want, smash Left mouse button and 47 does some awkward fighting animation or a quicktime event that looks pretty cool and decides how fast the kill is

If he doubts about Hitman i would actually suggest him to play Blood Money or any other Hitman game

Yes...pretty annoying, considering I can run the game on medium at 20-25 FPS but after a cutscene or transition it goes to 1

Disguises don't work because this is a stealth game in the vein of Splinter Cell: Conviction, not an assassination game like Hitman: Blood Money.

The work fine over here, don't disguise to the enemy who are in the greatest number but the ones who are more on the outside
Secondly you can get in every place if you look good enough around without the need of a disguise.

Don't you also kill three guys in that Streets of Hope level? Haven't played the game yet so I have no idea if it is the same as the alpha/betas or even if it is still in the game.

Most of what I've learned about this game has been through the PC Gamer UK and GameSpot reviews.

I'm open to anything you might wish to clear up about the game, specifically about the points raised in PC Gamer's review.

Guess i am having a bad day then, will snip my other posts
Anyway, the reviews are indeed full of bullshit.

The game features enough stealth elements and every mission still has the 'Kill person X' like the other Hitman games, other then that the game plays and feels different then Blood Money, i think that blood Money is more fun while Absolution is better. In the end i see them both as real different Hitman games instead of a follow-up from Blood Money

Can you rebind the keys? You couldn't do it for the Sniper Challenge.

The engine is not [I]that[/I] optimised at the moment, its not as horrible as Hitman or Saints Row 2 for example, my 3-4 year old GTX 570 can run this on High with a few things turned to low/medium.
And not sure what you mean with Raw mouse input

Raw mouse input means that no mouse smoothing and acceleration, or OS mouse settings, will interfere with your mouse movements.

Basically, fast and fluid mouse movements.
