I didn't enjoy Fallout 3, but hopefully I will enjoy this one since Obsidian is making it.
Anyway, this game is most likely going to be a fight over the Hoover dam, the best source of power in a destroyed world, thus the many lights and the bolt in the logo.
You never played good games in your life, haven't you?
He obviously doesn't pay attention to graphics, AI, or character animations. Hey, look I'm sliding instead of walking. They really need to use a new engine.
Fallout 1/2 > 3
Reasons why it's not really a fallout game:
1. No Ron Fucking Perlman at the begining with the legendary speech.
2. Your quest is selfish, finding your dad, as opposed to the tradition of being sent away to help your vault/tribe and then getting fucked over by them.
3. FO3 Random encounters suck compared to 1 and 2.

Ron Perlman did narrate Fallout 3, but the narration is pretty forgettable.
At the end, yeah, though they should have had the Iconic "War never changes" right at the start.

It was at the start... The start intro don't you remember?
Not in Fallout 3 it wasn't.
Not in Fallout 3 it wasn't.
Do you mean the quote being right at the start of the intro video or just being in it?
Being at the start, like it is in the other 2 fallouts.
Hell, even though it was slightly said in the end, alll that was said from the entire thing was war never changes, if i remember right.
If New Vegas is going to be like, exactly seen as in the pictures, I can say both that I'm dissapointed, and happy.
I liked Fallout 3's style, and I'm happy to see that it's been used in this game aswell, but sadly the style also has it's own issues and I'd have liked to see a full change instead.
So it's a 50-50, but I think I'll be getting this.

I can name plenty of old games that where better then their sequels, but if you don't compare and just judge Fallout3 as a fresh new game its great. I enjoyed every minute of it and the game was a great succes all over the world. I'm happy to see NV is going to have similar gameplay to Fallout3.
Its looking promising, but I don't know whether it would be something I would buy

Sorry, but when it's named Fallout 3, indicating that it's a third in a series, I can't imagine it as a fresh new game.
Oops, I didn't think of that.
It isn't exactly Fallout 4, is it? More like for example GTA : San Andreas in the GTA series?
I don't get why all the Fallout 3 haters are worthshipping New Vegas, it has been my impression from day one that it is comparable to a standalone expansion of FO3. Sure it's made by some of the original creators and with new/tweaked gameplay mechanics, but it's still the gamebryo engine which you all hate and will probably play much like FO3.
The fact it is being made by the original creators means it should feel more like a fallout game. The engine isn't the worst thing, it is the whole style. The idea that humans can live in undefended encampments and that mutants and enclave are still around. Fallout 3 was a cheesy mess of storyline. Fallout 1 and 2 was about the evils in the heart of every human, and the eventual wars between fortified towns. On your travels, when you came across a caravan, they were heavy armed, not one man and a dog.
Not to mention that one of the guys working on it has written some very interesting articles about morality in gaming, and they have expanded the chat system so it works more like the fallout ones.

Oh no a sequel has a slightly different structure in the opening speech dealie when comparing to the previous games
Considering that the opening speech is pretty much one of the iconic things about fallout, yeah, I excpected it to be featured a little more, not butchered and stuck on to the end as if in afterthought.
And opening speech? This hardly has one except for your fathers sentimental ramblings about a passage from a pre great war book.
Oh no a sequel has a slightly different structure in the opening speech dealie when comparing to the previous games
The fact that the intro is the trailer and nothing else shows that they are lazy.
Hopefully the combat won't just be a competition to see who shoots each other to death first like in FO3.
NMA is gonna suicide over this, hahahaha.

They're quite happy.

How? They're never happy with anything ever.
Ever.

because the whole NMA stereotype has really been overblown, only a small handful of members fit that stereotype, the rest just don't give a shit.

The "war, war never changes" line is used at the start of the intro in FO3.

Funny how I dont' ever remember that being the intro, I remember it being the radio one.

I saw a thread for Dragon Age and the only thing in the OP was that one awful trailer with Marilyn Manson music made to just show the amount of violence in the game, and they just sat there shitting on everything Bioware has ever done. I'm pretty sure they're all a bunch of fuckheads who desperately want to go back in time.
NMA should be changed to NMMA (No More Mutants Allowed) Afterall ,they've reached the population capacity for irradiated trolls. :v:
Will new vegas have online and offline co-op?
[editline]03:14PM[/editline]
I hope they don't fuck it up like Fallout 3.
Please, get out. For me Fallout 3 was perfect in every way, (Except for not having online)
I'm pretty sure it won't have online capabilities.
