Funny how I dont' ever remember that being the intro, I remember it being the radio one.
The FO3 intro is divided in two parts, first the radio playing in some bus wreak, then the narrated background story. I can't remember the intro from FO1, but the intro in FO2 is also divided in two pieces, first a slideshow inside some vault, then the narrated background story.
Are you saying they also did the FO2 intro wrong?
So it's Fallout 3 with a bunch of new shit and more re-playability as it is, without DLC ?
I think I'm gonna like this.
Sorry, but when it's named Fallout 3, indicating that it's a third in a series, I can't imagine it as a fresh new game.
For me the fact that it was released 10 years after the previous one, it had a different developer and a different engine made it a fresh game. I loved the first games, but I also really enjoyed the third, simply as a game set in the Fallout universe. The first games are brilliant Isometric turn based RPGs, but the third is a solid representation of the world in the form of a first person RPG (I wouldn't say FPS, the S part is weak but honestly not terrible).
An RPG like Fallout 3 or Oblivion would be godawful online, it would tear the story and quest elements right out and shit on them.
While it may be a fresh game, I stilll hold it somewhat to the standards of the first two. It's just not quite a fallout game, while Bethesda have come close to making it one, the fatc that they aren't the original developers for it means they just haven't got quite the same scope. I don't think it's a bad game, to me it just isn't quite fallout though.
I do like the sound of the Hardcore mode, hopefully it'll involve eating as well as drinking.
NMA should be changed to NMMA (No More Mutants Allowed) Afterall ,they've reached the population capacity for irradiated trolls. :v:
BLAMMMOOOOO
:iceburn:
I saw a thread for Dragon Age and the only thing in the OP was that one awful trailer with Marilyn Manson music made to just show the amount of violence in the game, and they just sat there shitting on everything Bioware has ever done. I'm pretty sure they're all a bunch of fuckheads who desperately want to go back in time.
to be honest I am not a fan of Bioware RPG's, there is just something about them I do not like.
and a few people in one thread represent the whole of NMA :downs:
Ok apparently those "few people" are the only people who even fucking make threads. In every NMA thread about a game that doesn't have to do with Fallout they have compare it to Fallout 3 to get an idea of how bad or good it is. They shit on as many games as possible to the point of sounding like trolls and their opinions are so myopic that there's really no point in having a forum for anything at all other than Fallout 1 and 2.

You would fit perfectly there.
I have been a member of NMA about as long as I have been a member of Facepunch.
oh by the way, most people there seem to like Mass Effect 2 and DA:O
Still no fucking shadows...
This is one of the saddest posts I've ever read on Facepunch.
Says one of the guys taking gaming down the shitter, enjoy your buttfucking.
ZOMG I stumbled upon FWE and have seen that it covers most of the major things i'd want from a fallout mod.

Nice.
You've been a member for a couple months.
Cool.
How? They're never happy with anything ever.
Ever.
Neither are you, apparently.
Says one of the guys taking gaming down the shitter, enjoy your buttfucking.
What does this even mean
It's just that you seem to be acting like gaming is the only reason to live and people who just want you to install something to play a game are the most evil people in the world (like Valve!!), it's sad.
ZOMG I stumbled upon FWE and have seen that it covers most of the major things i'd want from a fallout mod.
Try MMM and FOOK2 as well.
I'm gonna be using FWE, WMK and MMM
What is NMA
However this game turns out, I'm excited at the prospect of being able to make my own mods again, this time around with a better understanding of the GECK and a whole new location.
Try MMM and FOOK2 as well.
Ugh, don't bother with FOOK. Unstable piece of shit crashes everywhere.
I'm gonna be using FWE, WMK and MMM
FWE is really great, found out about it from the SA Fallout thread.
http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3186281
Yep I'm just downloading the FWE assets then I'll be done :D
got most of my mod list loaded in order ready so that alli have to do is move the FWE ones up and then activate them in the order I've sorted them and should be good to go.
Can't wait.

Info podcast.
The fact that the intro is the trailer and nothing else shows that they are lazy.
Yes, they created a huge world with thousands of details and hundreds of ministories and random things. They are lazy.
Neither are you, apparently.
I was pretty happy with Fallout 3.
Funny how I dont' ever remember that being the intro, I remember it being the radio one.
just keep watching after the radio part, i think that is where it shows up.
What is NMA
No Mutants Allowed. It's a website.
No Mutants Allowed. It's a website.
Why are they going to kill themselves, and what do they have to do with Mass Effect or Dragon Age: Origins?
I was pretty happy with Fallout 3.
New Vegas is probably going to make you feel terrible then. Most people agree it's in safe hands, so starting page after page of 'discussion' about NMA instead of the game itself when it's out might strain you somewhat.
Why are they going to kill themselves, and what do they have to do with Mass Effect or Dragon Age: Origins?
NMA has been around since Fallout 1 was released, lets just say most of the original Fallout 1 and 2 fans where displeased with how much Fallout 3 strayed from the other games in just about every way.

I see, but still don't understand what that has to do with ME, or DA:O
