PTR, along with a friend I know with a level 80 druid. Both of which I've done PvE and PvP on. I played the druid with resto and feral. If you're going to be elitist about who has a valid opinion based on level, just ban everyone who comments on something that they haven't fully completed, leveled up to 80,finished every raid, done every dungeon, played every battleground, gotten 1st place in an arena tournament, or maxed to 450 and crafted every recipe. I can read a post about druid talent changes and know that I don't like the idea of the new tree form. I may like it when cataclysm is released, but I doubt it.

This makes restoration less of a pure healing and more of casting in general. Basically, write a poem about it or stop bitching.[/QUOTE] uhh no my argument is that they don't need to have offensive powers if they're going to be healing in raids. in PvP i couldn't care less because this makes them pretty useful not having to transform in/out but in raids there's really no reason that i see for a healer to be doing damage when there's a tank to heal or someone to dispel magic on.

Your arguement is completely invalid then seeing as all their current healing abilities will be buffed significantly and they'll be just as good as any other healing class without Tree of Life.

i understand that blizzard wants to make restoration just like every other healer but i don't think they handled it the right way. it's as simple as that. IMO, they should have made tree of life actually useful with ToL only spells, and not focused on making them generic healers. they did balance spec right, with eclipse and all of the small passive buffs that you get from being in moonkin form. 15% of your spirit as spell power and a 6% increase in healing to all party/raid members in 100 yds isn't something that makes the spec fun to heal with. Making it a generic healer and buffing the healing spells is the easy way out of making ToL non-generic mechanics wise. I was hoping for something more creative from blizzard.

Which is why I'm posting. Not because I love to stare at trees all day. @ Uninstall the game No one would play if every person who didn't like any aspect about the game uninstalled it. So, no sorry. I'm just not going to be restoration. (Inb4 go write a poem, cry more, etc. etc.)

Your argument is also contradictory. They are making resto MORE interesting to play, because they are replacing the tree form that you always stay in with a cooldown that has its bonuses and perks. It will actually be more interesting than other healers, not "generic".

Good healing mechanic <---- Generic <----- Tree of Life They tried and succeeded in some ways in making it not as bad but they didn't do it the way that I was hoping for. What i was hoping for would've personally made ToL a lot better. I think they didn't do it correctly though. The ways they failed at making ToL better is what ruins playing it for me.
