im not making excuses
i level up slowly and i admit it
i would rather spend time doing other shit than waiting in dungeon queues for half an hour over and over
its how i like to play and i dont see any problem with it

in exactly 3 weeks thats 14 hours a day but ive had this character since beginning of may so probably 12 hours a day my account is up. not taking into account the huge amounts of afk time and when i leave it in the background.

If you don't like wait times then roll a DK to tank, or roll some healing class to heal.

I'm a druid so i could go be any of the three. I don't like feral spec as much as restoration and balance, but I'm going to get to the 2k gold mark and dual spec as balance/resto until cataclysm when i decide whether or not i really do like the new restoration or if i cant stand it

How about go resto for now and heal till you get to 80, then you can decide if you like either spec period.

You don't really need courage to do the dungeons. I mean I know how you feel first time I got to max level and went into my first dungeon I was like oh fuck but the worst people can do is tell you to gtfo and kick you, and if you're using the dungeon finder it's not like you'll see them again. Just learn from shit you do wrong.

I played restoration from around level 10 to level 53. In vanilla a long time ago I got a balance druid to level 60. I may switch to restoration for the last few levels. The main reason I switched was so I could quest easier in outlands than with restoration. I can get 2k gold by the end of the day with Eye of the Storm on call to arms so really i could just go dual spec tonight and play both whenever.

It took me 21 months. Should have done more dungeons and less fishing! Also shouldn't have tried to level 4 different classes for the first year or so, I guess.

My account got hacked :( All my vendorable items sold and my gold gone. I have been banned twice for spamming... Stupid gold farmers... What should I expect? I emailed blizzard ( calling was down). If they know my recovery question which seems likely this will keep happening!
if it's his first character so what if he took ages, at least he's playing it the way he enjoy's. its once you get started on another character that you want to do it asap

I have recently hit 80 on my resto shaman and I don't know what stat to gem, I have heard stack haste (EJ) and also Intellect until I get better gear (TankSpot).

Probably intellect, haste makes you cast spells faster which will use more mana, but it also gives you more of a chance to get crits (which triggers water shield)

Int is only good for holy pallys, even then, in ICC, it's utility is greatly diminished due to shorter fights.
Shamans actually have decent regen combined with moderately mana-intensive spells, unlike pallys.
