Grinding rep with insanely hard-to-grind factions is much more tedious, time consuming and no-lifey than doing 3000 quests. Heck you probably do half of that by leveling up via quests.

i expect it'll be nice the first 2/3 times but its damn linear when you look at it really, looks like another HoL to me with maybe some occulus X riding thrown in

then again i suppose you could say that about nearly all instances minus the riding part

Most of the instances I don't mind, I think I'm one of the few people who like Oculus. Only time I don't like doing instances is if the tank won't hurry when he has top level gear and so does the healer.

i've never understood the ammount of hate on occulus, it's really not that bad IMO, makes a nice change from the norm at least...clearly people don't like variation if they had to put a chance at mount at the end of it just so people would actually do it

occulus is super short too, my least favorite part is doing the waves of random enemies for the mage guy. Other than that is not bad

Back when i was collecting gear i loved Occulus. Short ass instance and 8 emblems. But then everyone went "ugh" and left group :(

Everyone was so daunted by the difficulty of Oculus (HoL was harder back then), between the length and learning the drakes. The 20-minute achievement was a bit of a bitch on release, too.

Now that all the shit's been nerfed, most of the people who imprinted into their mind how much they hated Oculus refuse to change one bit.

It's actually kind of sad. It's as fast as Culling, and you get more rewards.
