Well it must suck to be the OP but hey, to me a speedhack look like a speedhack, no matter how it is performed, and if there is no known speedhack in TF2 without using hacked dlls, then the valve employee reasonably assumed that you could only be cheating. Serve you well, trying to be a dick in front of them. Sure an automatic VAC ban will only detect hacked clients, doesn't mean a valve employee can't add you manually for doing it in an undetected way. This story has an odd feeling, a bit like this robber who sued the owner of the house he broke into because he got shot while escaping. You got what you deserve OP, "because you can" doesn't mean you have to, and i really hope it stays the way it is. Another theory however is that you commited ANOTHER offence and you haven't been banned because of this but because of something else, after all you're already banned from cod, not surprising to me.

Right because if you look on the stats for that thing, where i got 5 kills, 2 deaths, I was really speeding around a lot and killing everyone. What a dick I am?

I've used this exploit before, and haven't got VAC Banned, that's just stupid, VAC Banning them? They should ATLEAST ban them from the server. And Why should they manually do it when the VAC System does it for them. They shouldn't worry about it.

Actually, exploiting is the same as cheating if it can be used to gain an advantage. You may or may not have been using the exploit to cheat. This is one of those things that are against the rules, regardless of the intent behind it. Especially if you are in a server that does not already use the commands that you used to gain your advantage. It's not that you were using the exploit. It's the fact that you were using it just to piss people off, and there happened to be a Valve employee in the server. You got caught. Plain and simple. It's no different than if you were using godmode or some other command. If you actually read the EULA that you have to agree to whenever you install a game on Steam, you would know that. In Valve terms exploit = cheating if you use it to gain an advantage, or use it to piss people off.

as the support says: "Cheating is not tolerated in online games, regardless of how the cheat is classified." your answer is there, VAC can't detect exploits but if you are caught speedhacking you will be banned anyway.

This thread is no longer about me trying to get unbanned, since it's not happening, it's more about awareness of the flaws of VAC and how a developer could add anyone for any or no reason whatsoever. You say something a developer doesn't like and they're having a bad day? Ban.

I don't see what the problem was. You were speedhacking. This is cheating. You were giving yourself an unfair advantage in the game. It doesn't matter how you did it, it only matters that you did. I think the ban was totally justified.

You like to say exploiting is not cheating, but never give any reason why. Probably because you know you are wrong. If I'm playing poker and the guy happens to have a mirror behind him, looking in the mirror is 'exploiting' my surroundings to my advantage. It is also cheating. You used a third party program to deliberately create a situation where the game would function in an unintended manner to improve your character's performance. It does not matter how easy it was to do, or how few lines of console commands you needed to input, it is cheating.

Send an email to gabe about it. Don't whine like a little baby that you're now banned, just professional ask him about their policy on VAC banning and comment on how an employee manually banned you. Making a thread on facepunch whining like a bitch was a really dumb move on your part.
