I'm all for banning him, but the fact that a Valve employee can manually ban you on VAC which is supposed to be automated with a grace period scares the shit out of me.

the grace period, is nothing to give hackers a nice time, it is to make sure hack makers can't be sure a hack is undetected.
Last post that I'm gonna make in this thread,
If he had a VAC ban right then, It would have a popup about how he has been banned from source engine games and listing them.
There is a entire team that works on VAC. It could of been that VAC was turned off on the server, OR was just down for a few moments for something.

1. You cheated - Speed hacking comes to the unfare side, I mean like your fucking speedhacking for god sakes and you bitch on!
2. It is an in-game exploit, sourcemod needs to deal with this, the vac ban on my side shouldn't of been the option, the guy should of been BANNED from the server not the engine.

he used a exploit in source ,mod that made his client think it was the server, enabling him to set them, however since he is NOT the server, it has the effect of only setting for him

So if he is banned from TFC he is banned from:
- CS 1.6
- DOD
- TFC
If he cheated in episode 1 engine hes banned from
- HL2DM
- CSS
If he cheated in tf2 he's banned from
- TF2
- DOD:S
- Counter Strike Beta
If he cheated in L4D he's banned from:
-L4D
-L4D2
Might I add if your reading this and have been banned from MW2, you should be able to play all VALVe games
