See, the thing about 4chan boards are that they contain sub communities of specific interests. Most people usually stay in the threads that interest them, and ignore the threads of things they hate.

Now 4chan is unique in that unlike most web communities, people are allowed to freely express their opinions as passionately as they want. People tend to have really diverse viewpoints and aren't afraid to voice them.

So when a bunch of opinionated, anonymous people who hate eachother get together in one chat, this is the only likely outcome.
