did political gamer tell gaben he was press or some shit?
Maybe, no doubt he could probably get away with it easier than four kids.
Did It cost anything to take the tour itself? I live just north of Washington, in Canada, and was thinking of taking the local Valve fans on a trip down to Valve during the summer.
Like I said, I was only allowed to take pictures of the lobby and most of the pictures I could manage to take with my 3D's poor excuse for a camera were blurry crap. I don't know what made Political Gamer so special. :smith:
His had way more pictures and was more descriptive.
His had way more pictures and was more descriptive.
What I meant by that was, what made Political Gamer so special that he was allowed the extra pictures.
Why i live in Europe ?
Why i live in Europe ?
Start a Portal 2 boycott and they will fly you to Seattle.
did you see their real life sentry?
did you see their real life sentry?
Nah, it would probably shot him to death.
did you see their real life sentry?
Of course he did, don't you see he even made a photo of it?
Of course he did, don't you see he even made a photo of it?
Right before it killed Michael Cera. :smith:
Fuck tf2, it got gheyed by all the shit they added to it. Do you have any dota 2 info?
Of course he did, don't you see he even made a photo of it?
for some reason my eyes skipped every link in the op
for some reason my eyes skipped every link in the op
Don't worry, it happens to me too sometimes :v:
Or just email them the fuck up and ask politely.
Email them and ask the fuck politely. GOD, HOW DO I DO THIS?
My body is ready for Meet the Medic.
I wish I lived near Bellevue. Instead I live in New York and I'm dead fucking scared of planes :smith:
It would have been nice to see pictures, even if it was just Valve's front office, and the logo was really mounted on the wall inside. Otherwise I don't know if I believe this really happened without photographic evidence. The only thing close to reality I had with Valve, was when they left a life-size Gordon Freeman statue in front of me, which I still can not remember if they did Gordon's face with plastic or wax, but he actually looks like the concept art, holds a real crowbar (heavier to hold then he makes it look like), if you really went to Valve OP, you should of at least not made my mistake and got video of that, considering how detailed it was, your camera being blurry would not have mattered, if you got video of it, especially that you could actually feel Gordon up, because I Googled it, and could not find the statue in image or video results. However, I kind of suspect Valve also would not really want us leaking shots of their hideout no more.
Did you really fail to click the first link in the OP?
Yeah, because it reminds me of the year I actually failed to capture footage myself, then maybe others would be redding me out/denying me touring Seattle without taking pictures, instead. You know there are in fact other people here did actually go to Valve and did not share pictures/video. I will not confirm if I am one of those, but I tell you what I did not see, an Alyx statue. I hate to admit, but the quarter scaling of the Headcrab Zombie Statue makes the Valve store Headcrab item seem un-legit.
should have given gabe a gift certificate to subway. with "if jared can do it, so can you" written on the back of it.
should have given gabe a gift certificate to subway. with "if jared can do it, so can you" written on the back of it.
No words, only ratings.
Shoulda asked if they would make a "Gabe's Knives" pack for TF2 with cartoony versions of all his knives for the Spy.
I wish I lived near Bellevue. Instead I live in New York and I'm dead fucking scared of planes :smith:
You have more chance of dying in a car crash than a plane having any issues which may or may not lead to it crashing.
You have more chance of dying in a car crash than a plane having any issues which may or may not lead to it crashing.
I've heard that and it doesn't help at all. It's just knowing the fact that I'm fucking miles in the air for 2 or more hours which scares me shitless.
KingKombat, I don't know how we got off topic like this, but anywhere, any time is all I can say. If you want scary, watch the Final Destination series, not the first film though, which is up in the air, but the last 3 is after when they are on the ground, basically demonstrates there is no escape. You just have to experience everyday without fear. Maybe your situation is that you have Vertigo, so I may not be the most religious guy, but thats where it kind of comes in when you got to have faith. I mean your thumbnail is a nuclear icon, there are people that feared that stuff so much, they built actual fallout shelters, and those things you have to fear they not fly through the air and hit the ground, but I can tell you from the state of nuclear waste I live in, that atomic stuff causes a lot of cancer, the difference is that's slower then getting knocked out unconscious. We have to be thankful we do not have flying cars, because I can not imagine someone texting while flying, then colliding into other flying cars, breaking them apart, then all the debris comes raining down at me while I am on the ground underneath, not to mention hits other buildings, below, hits a gas main, ignites, I could go on about this, but there is no point. Shit, I just realized KK, with all due respect, you probably do not want to play the next HL adventure, after Episode Two because they would probably make a detailed heli crash over the long development time.

[editline]8th April 2011[/editline] I think. Fuck I don't remember.
Yes, why is this so weird to everyone? Is the concept of non-concrete social interaction as a means of getting something so alien to the denizens of the internet?
You really think that's why people think it's weird? It's weird because of how much of a hassle it must be for Valve to do a tour for anyone who just happens to call and ask.
[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/15VVS.jpg[/img_thumb] The back of Michael Cera's head.
Ironic, because I have that same hoodie and used to wear my hair like that.
That's not ironic, it's coincidental :colbert:
