I personally think, it has the best graphics, and overall features that a free engine can offer.
I wish I could contribute, but sadly I'm only a writer and like the OP stated there isn't a plot, so I guess my offer of services is moot. However, being an avid fan of zombies, and seeing that this actually has a bit of potential, I wish you guys luck.
This looks like a fun mod but it worries me that you will no longer use the Source Engine.
I hope you know what you're doing.
