You still get Arx Fatalis according to steam.
I don't see anything about it on the Steam page any more. Where does it say?

looking at that video and seeing him shoot that guard in the leg and him looking like he's is in extreme pain looks so satisfying

Hmm, for some reason it doesn't say that on mine on their site or through the Steam client. I'm in the UK in case regions have something to do with it.

Oh god I'm so excited for this game.
Just pre-ordered, let's hope it's worth it!
They just launched an absolutely stunning Google Chrome experiment where you can actually explore the game - or rather, its alternate dimension The Void.

Crap, just saw the system requirements. Looks like I'm not being to be able to put off replacing my crappy old computer anymore.
Wait so we need more than 4GB of ram to play?

Doesn't work.
What's everyone's view on the Pre-Order bonuses? Sounds like a load of cheap, cheat add-ons to make the game slightly easier. Where are you guys going to pre-order from? Just Steam and get Arx Fatalis instead of some gameplay tweaks?
I think it doesn't matter and people shouldn't care.

Wow, lots of those abilities look really good.
Not pre-ordering before i get a Tf2 hat.

Game/Gamestation's card pack looks pretty cool: but you are basically paying £8 extra for it and the ability to consume white rats for mana. Amazon's bonuses seem sorta useless except for the arrow dodge but that sounds kinda odd. ShopTo's bonuses sound like a bit of a cheat but it does have the cheapist price. Tesco's deal also sounds quite good and is the usual price of £30. Steam on the other hand gives you a free game (Arx Fatalis) and you are guaranteed to play it on release.

They took it down because of a bug that made only the last collectable video watchable.
I can spoil the contents for you though:
[sp]You run and jump across The Void and have to prove yourself to the Outsider by collecting powers. Every time you collect a power you get a nice video showing it in action - Devouring Swarm, Windblast and Possession are the powers you need to get. In between the islands there are paintings and objects you can interact with, such as a portrait of the Empress which suggest Corvo was more than close to her.
You also come across a portrait of the Outsider which tells him that you're his only entertainment. Also you find a fish, which makes the background song into "Drunken Whaler". After collecting three powers you get a task to get a last, hidden power. After you fetch it you watch a video of the power - this being the Heart you can use to find relics to upgrade your powers. The heart video is the one that bugged and showed in ALL the powers instead of their videos, which is why they took it down.[/sp]
The whole thing is made in WebGL, which was the most impressive thing. Sad about the horrendous loading times, but it's understandable once you start playing the thing.

I won't worry about preorder bonuses, Bethesda has this thing in Scandinavia where they make a "Nordic Edition" with all preorder shizzle packed in. Probably excluding the cards, but the relics and other bonuses are definitely inside. They already did it for Rage and Brink.
what's with some games required 4Gb RAM as the MINIMUM all of a sudden? just a few months ago the minimum for pretty much every game on the market was 2Gb

I'm just pre-ordering from Steam, all of this "pre-order here and get this, no pre-order here and get that" stuff is bullshit. Why can't we just have the whole damn game when we buy it?
http://www.revengeathand.com/?l=in is up again, you can go play it now!
Just pre-ordered on Steam: will probably play Arx Fatalis before Dishonored comes out.
hmmm, does the [sp]heart have the same voices as the empress[/sp] in revengeathand? (guess its sort of a spoiler but not really)

also, this one isn't private:

Dishonored (EU / US, activates on Steam) -25% off from Green Man Gaming with Voucher Code GMG25-1BW0K-K1A3G. Preordered the game for 36€ instead of 50€. Here, linky linky: http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/fi/en/pc/games/action/dishonored-eu/
Also the hub area in between missions features NPCs and a full dialogue system. You can see it in the first developer diary here:

Sokolov seems like a fun character - he paints Corvo's targets as paintings which Corvo can use to identify them. In the case of Lady Boyle, he painted the portrait with only her back showing, making identification impossible - you have to go to the party to track down the right Boyle because of that.

Wow, this is fucking retarded.
Please tell me it's the workings of Bethesda and not Arkane Studios, I don't want to be dissapointed by one of my favorite studios.

By the way, Steam pre-order should totally give you Dark Messiah together with Arx Fatalis.

DLC and pre-order bonuses are always done by the marketing team of the publisher, not the developer team. The development team continues work on the project until it goes gold, with little to no interruption to make up ways to get more money. You're looking at Bethesda.
Also the preorder bonuses, aside from the physical thingies, are all available in the game. The books are discoverable ingame, the runes and bonecharms are also in-game loot.

Oh, I thought you could only get that stuff if you pre-ordered.

It's Unreal Engine 3, judging from the screenshots and videos so far it seems like it'll run about as smooth as any other UE3 game (some snazzy shadow effects and particles excluded). If your PC can run Mirror's Edge smoothly, I'm pretty sure it can ace Dishonored. Don't take my word on it though, those ARE the official system requirements and there's no telling what additions they have done on top of the regular UE3 kit.
I hope that the masquerade isn't the only interesting quest in the game. Usually if the devs show one quest in particular it's the one interesting part in the game.
