Oh so like, Updates and DLC will be fine getting to PS3 because Bethesda didn't make the game?
Pretty much.
Seeing the game so far I can safely assume good DLC as well. Bethesda is pretty good with that (the devs made GOOD dlc) and Arkane is very "liberal" with games I think. Haven't seen them before this but they've got good people.
Alright then thanks, PS3 it is, I don't have many good games on PS3, I keep buying them for PC...

I guess i'll be making sure to take my time and explore a bit more.
Nevermind, thanks Zips :
Four hours? Hahaha, uh yeah, I could maybe see that if they skip every cutscene, find none of the hidden items, upgrade nothing, and only go straight through the main story elements while going balls out Rambo style through everything.
I can't shake the feeling that he was in the middle of saying "I love your coat!" when you shoved a sword through his neck.

To be honest, I highly doubt it.

I doubt it too. Just letting people know, though.

Why does he keep calling it an RPG? :I
Anyways, it's sounding so much like a modern-day Thief. Which is excellent, of course.
Goddamn, it would come out just as Uni starts and I have no money or time to buy it. Guess I'm going to have to wait for it to go on sale in the distant future.

Because it kind of is. You boost your abilities with runes, purchase new gear with coins and add passive perks with bone charms.
Here's some leaked screens. http://imgur.com/a/yadjx
I'm signing off from this thread due to numerous spoilers all over the web (the game got leaked on the 360 and I already know too much). I don't want to spoil myself the whole thing, see ya!

Since you've played the game, I was wondering, what's the general difficulty of the game? All I remember is that when I first stealth gameplay (The Golden Cat video released a few months back), it seemed like it would be incredibly easy, considering the amount of powers you have, and how the guards all seemed blind in that video.

if you take 4 hours to RUSH then that's a really good thing...

Don't see why RPG is bad though.
Bioshock 2 is the best RPGFPS games I can think of off the top of my head.

I think you mean Bioshock 1.

Well, it's a bit hard to judge what you will determine "difficult" or not. I went through on Normal with the HUD elements enabled, which I almost needed to do given the time sensitive nature of what I needed to get done prior to this review going out.
There are two harder difficulties in the game which will increase the senses of the enemies you encounter, and the fact you can remove all HUD elements if you want. I'd say, even on Normal, it's a great balance of difficulty, depending on your play style. I was able to go stealth when I wanted to and I was able to just beat the crap out of people when I wanted to. I did die quite a few times.

Sorry for not being in the know... but how do you have it now?
I think you mean Bioshock 1.
BS 2 was better though :v: at least for me
it was pretty much the same but still
Probably not staying this way.

Really? Because I think BS2 is awful. BS1 is miles better not to mention there's DX:HR which beats them both in terms of gameplay by miles.
Apparently /v/ is shitting on the game because of the 4-hour speedrun.
It's actually hilarious.
It does make me a tad worried that it does take 4 hours to speedrun through it. To me, that means that it's got a really short story but it takes a long to to get to the end. Hopefully it'll be longer than I expect.

afaik dishonored is one of those games with tonnes of side content so i'm really not worried about the 4 hour speedrun. it sounds like some dude decided to skip all the cutscenes and teleport as much as possible and just overall ignore the game taking place around him. if you actually play the game for the sake of playing it i'm sure it'll last a good deal longer than 4 hours
House rules for playthrough 1: Spare guards and targets based on facial hair. Female targets based on shoes.
Do we have any fellow Bethesda Insiders club member on FP? I hope they release keys for the game before it's release so we have preload. Doesn't really matter either way because we get it for free! :D
Can't wait to try a strictly stealth play-through where I try to get through the game without alerting anybody if that's even possible.
I heard that the guy who did the stream posted the link to it when he was already well into the last stretch of the game.
Personally, I enjoy the game more playing through it once and if I fuck up, aka alert a guard or trip an alarm or something, I try and deal with it and move on instead of reloading a save to try and slip past that guard or alarm. Second time I play through it though, I try to be more conservative and I will reload if I alert a guard. Makes the game more interesting having to actually deal with your slip ups.

That sounds bad. I just hope I can stretch the game out as long as possible.
