Fuck, I just heard there are only 9 missions.
[editline]8th October 2012[/editline]
I'm worried now.
So when is this game first accessable through vpns? Is it already accessible? When even is the release date in the UK? I should probably be investigating these things since I preordered days ago. :v:

Comprehension skills hoooooo!
Thank you.
Well I just saw the ending. Don't know what to think.

wow, why would you do that to yourself?
This game doesn't have a midnight release at EBgames... And then school tomorow :|
Thinking about staying home all day just to play Dishonoured...
Start VPN (google USAIP, it's free), connect to Colorado and then let Steam notice, activate the game, tab it down and turn off VPN.
Create a txt, put ONLY 205100 inside it and as soon as your game is activated put this in your folder next to exe. Next time you start the game, use exe.
To prepare yourself for tomorrow. But I guess this will have to be said 999 times.
Put it in OP or something?

Hmm? I watched a guy on twitch play through the game.

will have side missions
also 9 missions sounds more like 9 assassinations
that could mean it could drag.

I mean, why would you spoil yourself with the ending?
This was my first purchase from a site like Green Man Gaming. Up until now I had always been wary of these deals that seemed too good to be true, but I was pleasantly surprised when my Steam key was sent to me today. $15 saved so I am happy.
I know how the sites like the ones selling the Russian version of BL2 for $45 work, but how do sites that sell NA and EU copies work? If $45 is actually the wholesale price, how do these sites make any money?

I watched a guy play through the whole game on twitch. I never intended to buy the game and play it at least not for a long time. No big deal to me.

Well I just saw a reason not to visit this thread until I beat Dishonored.
How can I play Dishonored tonight if I live in the UK? How would I use a VPN to achieve such a thing?

Yeah I thought the same, but I've saved atleast $200 buying from these sites. I got Borderlands 2 for $35-$40AU, activated fine on Steam, and was half the price.

I know in most cases they buy bulk copies of the games and take the serial key out and email you those keys, but it still doesn't explain the low price. As long as it works just the same, I may as well not question it and enjoy the fact that it is cheap :v:

russian copies of games are way, way cheaper than western ones.

They're often russian language only. You have to be careful with cheap russian keys.

That's what I don't understand about the NA copy I bought from GMG for $45, it isn't a Russian copy.

9 hours left.
intkeys with coupon code: 14a825c58b is 38$
I bought it on Steam though :[

That's because GMG isn't a 3rd party key site. They are an authorized re-seller of all the games they sell.

So?
That's what I don't understand about the NA copy I bought from GMG for $45, it isn't a Russian copy.
Because the games only cost about $40/43 for the retailer to buy direct from the publisher, then they list them for $60 (so they make $10-$15 selling new) when they put them on store shelves
What game key websites do is they essentually buy these direct copies from the publisher/middlemen/connections, and then sell them for only a dollar or two above, which is feasble since they get thousands of orders for a single game for a website that is super cheap to run and likely only pays a few employees. They also don't have a "retail presence" which means publishers can't simply "blacklist" them for selling below MSRP on release.
Plus russian versions are super super cheap to begin with, and many times a russian version will be exactly like the NA version.

Yeah... you have to wait 9 hours tills it's released.... as it's not out anywhere... sheesh moron.
Awww shit... this game is getting some good-ass reviews. I honestly expected it to be mediocre, so this is a nice surprise.
Also apparently this game is really, really good
Makes me sad because I have no time nor money to play it on release tomorrow with school, work, modding, and borderlands 2 I still have to beat. Plus buying a new car.
ugh. I hate having a real backlog, but at least I'll have something to do later since a lot of what comes out later this year and early next has no interest for me.

This kind of implies that I need to activate the game... aka not have it already activated.
