For anyone that has played:
Is this game worth the 50 euro's, or should I wait?
You can get it for 36 euros at GMG with the voucher.
I want to play this game so bad

In America, I'm gonna pay the $50 and play the fuck out of it.
Just got to the [sp]Lady Boyle's Last Party[/sp] mission. Approximately how far through the game am I?
Looks like Half-Life 2 remade in the Team Fortress 2 universe from the outside screenshots.
So I played about 2 hours last night, but I had to stop because I need to study for a common exam today.
I just started the first mission, and was beginning to help Granny Rags. Here's my question regarding a certain item:
[sp]Does anyone else think that the Heart that the Outsider gave you to find shit is the Empress's? It says things like "I'm so cold" and "What have they done to me?", not to mention all the stuff it said about the people and locales. They also sound similar.[/sp]
It's not story-ruining, as least I don't think so, regarding where I am right now. I'm just curious if anyone else thinks the same.
anyone know the app id code thing for this game?
Im trying to unlock it early
rated dumb? why?
Woo, bought this on greenman gaming for $45
Downloading now at 4.5 MB/s.

Not allowed to pay online, and I don't think we have a GMG local store where I live.
Maybe a stupid question, but where are they storing the save games? I'd like to move my save from the press review over to the non-press version but I can't find them.
Found them.

But the press review's ID is different so you might just want to look for a similar app ID folder.

Halfway or so. The only real issue with the game is length.
as long it isnt the same length mirrors edge had im fine
while mirrors edge was a blast for me the lenght killed it for me
even tough i re-played the game like 13 times becouse it was so fucking fun

I've read from a lot of people that it's about 5-8 hours if played like an action game, 15-25 hours if played like a stealth game (and if you explore around, because apparently there's a ton of areas and sidequests hidden away).

I'm not sure that it matters though, the game has an insane amount of replayability. Lethal vs. Nonlethal gives you two playthroughs right away. You can be the stealth expert or somebody who kills everything as fast as possible and have fun either way. There's so many different ways to get around even the same playstyle can result in two different playthroughs.
Granny Rags told me to [sp]poison the bootleg health elixir[/sp]. What should I do? I want every single rune, but I don't want [sp]to infect half the city with the plague.[/sp] (spoilers from second Granny Rags mission)

[sp] If you want all of the runes, I think you're going to have to poison it. It's a fun little side-mission, and it is fucking great seeing the aftermath when you're able to return to the distillery later on.[/sp]
Seriously though, fucking loving this game atm. Just played the Golden Cat mission as shown in one of the gameplay videos and the amount of options available is brilliant. Back to it I go.
I fucking hate overseers with those sound box things. The keep you from using magic, force you backwards, and make it a pain in the ass to hit them.
Are the shadows supposed to be pitch black? I set the brightness so I can just barely see the darkest logo but I can't see where I'm going.
I guess it's wrong, because enemies can still see even if I'm sitting in complete darkness.

Yeah. I should've known something was wrong when I first got to here.

A lot of the gameplay so far reminds me of Dark Messiah Might and Magic a bit
there's also hints of deus ex, thief, half life, dark messiah might and magic, and elder scrolls
No Bethesda insiders code yet :/ But I did play the Xbox version last night after my sister was done playing for the night. The game is fucking beautiful in all aspects!
Reminds me a lot of Thief after playing it for a while.

I love the look of this game.
Wow, I bought this game and didn't expect too much. I'm blown away, it's so damn immersive and the atmosphere is perfect.
I'm 4 hours into the game and I'm just now doing the main part of the first mission after prison.

On very hard difficulty and ultra-sneaky engaged mode though
This was the top post on /r/gaming this morning, but I thought I would put it here on the off chance some of you haven't seen it. The game became so much more enjoyable when I bumped the FOV to 110.

Isn't 110 a bit high? Doesn't the game go up to 90 already?
Isn't 110 a bit high? Doesn't the game go up to 90 already?
Some people like super-high FOVs, and it helps in a game where situational awareness is key.

On a 27" monitor, having the FOV at 110 looks and feels really well. It's all personal preference but it does depend on your setup as well.
The game only goes up to 85 I believe if you are just making changes through the in-game options, which I thought was sort of odd.
