If you guys are taking hours to complete a mission, what consists of a mission? Does it lock you in an area to explore and finish the objective, or is it the entire city that is available? How fast can you complete a mission?
http://www.greenmangaming.com/ $45 with code GMG25-EVFWS-4Z4ZN which expires on the 12th. Not sure if it's cheaper anywhere else.
Thanks chief.
Haven't done the mission, but judging from the other missions (specifically Golden Cat), you can't incapacitate the targets, you will probably have to do a side quest to get non-lethal.
The side quest requires you to knock here out and carry her.
The side quest requires you to knock here out and carry her.
I probably overlooked something, but I just ignored that option because [sp]I couldn't see carrying the hostess unconscious through the party to be a very good idea.[/sp]
Just finished the game and got the second best ending, man that was perfect. I'm pretty hungry now too, I should probably get dinne-- It's 3 in the morning. Oh god, what have I done. Oh god, what have I done?!? I HAVE BEEN PLAYING DISHONORED SINCE 10:30AM.
I can't wait to ditch my gun/bow for some teleporting action ;)
Nothing more fun than alerting the guards then teleport over a pack of rats and see the guards be eaten.
Well fuck this game. I shot a guy with a sleep dart for a objective instead of like a pistol like it expected me to and it counted as a kill.

I guess you could finish a mission in a few minutes though if you don't want to find anything or explore.
That reddit fix doesn't seem to work for me. When I go in game and press F4 nothing happens. How exactly am I supposed to copy/paste the line into my .ini file because the guide is a little weird with it's choice of words.
What's the best way to deal with guard-wolfhound patrols? I can't kill the dog without the guard noticing and I can't choke the guard without the dog noticing and if possible I want to avoid killing the guard.
Slow or stop time?
So uh, wasn't the minimum requirement for this 3gb of ram and 3.0 GHz dual core? Then how am I running this so damn smoothly with 2gb of ram and a 2.7 GHz dual core? I can even max it out.
Because 1GHz!=1GHz and I dunno about the RAM.
Read again I have a 2.7 Ghz dual core.
Read again I have a 2.7 Ghz dual core.
Sorry, it's because 2.7GHz!=2.7GHz :downs: [editline]10th October 2012[/editline] I'm a bit disappointed. I did that side mission where I was had to safe that guy from being poisoned and thought why not just tranq him and everyone around him. That way he can't get poisoned. That worked perfectly and I immediately got the follow-up task telling me to hide his body in a safe location. I hid him in a dark corner->didn't count. I hid him in a trash can->didn't count. I carried him all the way out of the Overseer part of the map->didn't count I hid him in a trash can right next to the trash can I tried 30 minutes ago->counts. WTF, how was I supposed to know that?
Somehow I keep getting body counts without killing anyone, just choking them out and sleep darts. Anyway I'm inadvertently killing?
Somehow I keep getting body counts without killing anyone, just choking them out and sleep darts. Anyway I'm inadvertently killing?
Rat swarms eating unconscious guards? Throwing them from great heights or into water?
It marks a specific trash can as a safe place.
I turned objective markers off.
wait [sp]did campbell rape emily is that what he's implying when he says "inspecting the facilities"??? if so, thats fucking dark.[/sp]
Hng this is the first game where i actually think if i should go killing spree or just stealth so i dont get a bad ending ): also [sp] if i kill a enemy but dont let rats eat them it still counts as body count / higher chance of getting dark ending? becouse jesus christ some fights are so fucking hard and i just have to go SLEEP DARTS EVERYWHERE[/sp]
wait [sp]did campbell rape emily is that what he's implying when he says "inspecting the facilities"??? if so, thats fucking dark.[/sp]
No, he was visiting her to check up on her. He used the opportunity to get 'serviced' by the girls who work there.
So I just realized I can holster my weapons. This game just got better. Also I shit my pants when I killed Pendleton, I thought the sword would just go through him like from every other game.
I heard you can get banned for using a VPN to unlock games early. Is that really true? I want this game like now and I dont want to have to wait two more days.
I just realized More Chaos = more rats = even fucking harder to lower it because they eat bodies God fucking damn it nonlethal is hard
I heard you can get banned for using a VPN to unlock games early. As far as I know, they ban if you use VPN to BUY games that your region has locked.
Just finished the game with a bodycount of 0 on all missions, I killed nobody and every target I dealt with nonlethally. Was a fun first run, now I want to play the game just shooting and stabbing everyone.

Edit: on steam that is, no clue about other places!
I just realized More Chaos = more rats = even fucking harder to lower it because they eat bodies God fucking damn it nonlethal is hard
So the rats eat all bodies, so you have to keep them safe right?

It was fun as hell. [editline]10th October 2012[/editline] Also, does killing weepers count as kills? I don't want to kill to many people, but I really feel like I should put them out of their misery.
-snip figured it out-
what do you get for not killing anyone during a mission
