-snip- already did it.
Maxed out it runs at 130fps for me, which is handy having a 120hz monitor. Feels so fluid :v:
No I'm just pointing out something stupid again...
So what are you saying exactly? Does it really matter if the GPU temp is higher if you have a decent cooler on it? My old 4870 idled around 50c and went up to 90 under full load but it still functions perfectly after 4 years heavy gaming
Nevermind this vpn stuff, the only solution to the problem i had to connecting was apparently recompiling the entire program. I'll wait for the release instead.
what do you get for not killing anyone during a mission
Self satisfaction and a lower chaos rating.
I revoke Torchlight 2 as GOTY and announce this one instead. Incredibly smooth gameplay, fun as hell.
Reminds me a lot of the Riddick Game, one of my favorite stealth games.
Had an emergent moment in the first mission. I was in Campbell's building thing, [sp]and I was rune hunting when I unknowingly came entered Campbell's office to grab the rune in it. I turned on my batvision and saw a bunch of people outside one of the doors, with two trying to enter. I panicked my way the fuck out of there and they both entered when I realized it was Campbell and the other guy, the one that Campbell is trying to poison, and they were both about to take a drink. So I panicked my way back in there and since I was going for nonlethal, I panicked up to Campbell and tried to strangle him. The other guy freaked out and tried to shoot me but killed Campbell (resulting in a successful assassination) since I was still choking him out. I dropped the dead Campbell and shot the other guy with a sleeping dart and all was well.[/sp] :v:

I like to leave unconscious guards in compromising positions, like a bathtub or a cell where they keep people to be experimented on to find a plague cure.

I always throw them onto bunk beds so people just think they're sleeping on the job and don't suspect a thing :v:

I'm gonna start a new game and give it the Deus Ex test.
That is to say, try and kill all the main story characters in the first level and see if the game allows me to :v:
Does anyone happen to have a save for the prison cell?

Start a new game and save there?
Start a new game and save there?
i'm way too lazy to go through the intro sequence

Go to "Missions" and pick the first one.
Damn, this game looks good.
[editline]10th October 2012[/editline]
I'm thinking about buying it.
Go to "Missions" and pick the first one.
thank you. i am retarded.

do it
Why does everyone complain about the length? I spend a couple of hours on one mission exploring all the extra areas that are unrelated to the missions them self. Then I spend an hour or so on the actual mission because of all the extras.

This.
I could see myself playing another time or two also.
I reckon Assassin's Creed could work on some of these elements found in this game. It would certainly make me a lot more stealthier in that game than running around most of the time :v:

I'm on the second or third mission- The first couple took me long enough so i'm not complaining but... How long is it? Like four missions or something?
Prepare for DLC bullshit!
I probably overlooked something, but I just ignored that option because [sp]I couldn't see carrying the hostess unconscious through the party to be a very good idea.[/sp]
just do what I did
abuse possession, literally no one will give a shit :v:

Nine missions if I recall correctly.
Nine missions if I recall correctly.
Considering I take about 2-3 hours for every mission, sometimes even more, I'm cool with this.

Seriously? How the fuck can anyone complain about length? Nine missions is going to be great. I was expecting like Six.
Good Job Bethesda/Arkane.
I am impressed.
Edit:
Man I am on fire. Third Page King in a row. Hat Trick! :v:

king?
well, be vigilant
The only suggestion I would have for the game is more non-lethal stuff.
Maybe like, a way to disarm opponents in a fight, then either get them in a choke hold or bash them in the head with the hilt of the sword.
Non-lethal, but much louder and harder to do then sneaking up from behind and choking.

So, what? Enact some sort of Post-tax or some shit?
Monty Python is coming to mind...
On another note;
[sp] When you're assigned with assassinating High Overseer Campbell Soup Can[/sp] :v: [sp]and you are trying to save the Maid's Uncle from being poisoned: Did anyone else have Campbell and the gang run off into the basement after you poison/spill/find the drinking glasses? No matter what I did it saves the Uncle (spare for killing him with a dart or something)[/sp]

I did absolutely nothing. Just sat in the corner listening and watching before they came in and that exact scenario happened.

I just figured out [sp]who was who, so when I told my target her name and chose the right conversation options she led me to the stairwell that goes upstairs/to the basement. Dunno where she would have taken me after that since I choked her out and gave her to her stalker.[/sp]
