Thanks for distracting the guards for me :v:
Edit: The spoiler tagged image now works.
I really like the heart in the game
I love how it can tell you some backstory of the characters or even their thoughts
hi i just reached the flooded district, how long until i'm done with the game?
Is there no way to non-lethally combat enemies? You know apart from non-lethal takedowns. I feel like i've missed something.
It's difficult to complete side missions if I have to take on three dudes at the door by sneaking up behind them.

Sleep darts
That's about it
Also jesus christ my bodycount's up to over 500 now
After this playthrough, I'm doing a chaotic one. The first chaos bonus [sp] the tower at the first district[/sp] was pretty nice, so I'd like to see what else there is.
Also as a side note: the only way to play this game is with no objective marker.
For some reason my performance in the game is horrible. I have to play on a really bad resolution to have a decent FPS (with models on high and textures on medium). At 1980x1020 with the defaults (medium and medium) I have 15-20 FPS. I'm on a gaming laptop with a 570m GPU and can run BF3 and a few other games on high/ultra.
Did you try verifying the game cache?
wow, this game feels so much longer than i expected. i don't know about you guys but the thing i didn't like about dark messiah was that it was the same ritual for pretty much the second half of the game and it kind of got stale really quick and that's the same vibe that happens with dishonored. i'm kind of slaving myself to beat it at this point because the novelty of the gameplay's worn off and it's really not that great any more. the combat ends the second it starts because enemies drop in a few hits and the only really satisfying thing is the stealth but obviously in later missions it's not even really useful since it goes from assassinating targets to simply going from point A to point B which is kind of a bummer
I actually feel really bad for the heart. Every now and then it talks about itself when you ask for comments.
[sp]"My father had sandy blond hair."
"I am no longer alive, but I have not yet recieved the gift of death."
"Oh god, what did they do to me?"[/sp]
;-;

[sp]Some people think it might be the Empresses' heart[/sp]
[sp]Some people think it might be the Empresses' heart[/sp]
I am one of those people, the voice is rather similar, I think.
I kinda want one of those mini crossbows.
On another note;
[sp] When you're assigned with assassinating High Overseer Campbell Soup Can[/sp] :v: [sp]and you are trying to save the Maid's Uncle from being poisoned: Did anyone else have Campbell and the gang run off into the basement after you poison/spill/find the drinking glasses? No matter what I did it saves the Uncle (spare for killing him with a dart or something)[/sp]
[sp]I hid on top of the light fixture and when Campbell and the uncle came in I froze time and jumped onto the uncles head, stunning him. As he slowly fell to the ground I choked out Campbell and quickly carried him out the window onto the ledge. When time resumed the uncle got up confused, giving me enough time to take Campbell to the interrogation room and have him branded with the mark. I escaped just as the uncle realized what happened and called the guards.[/sp]
Scenarios playing out like that is what makes me love the crap out of this game.
hi i just reached the flooded district, how long until i'm done with the game?
[sp]I think there are two more areas/missions after that area. [/sp]
I love dishonored and all, but since Arkane studios rocks socks now, I think I want to see a fucking amazing Dark Messiah sequel or spiritual successor. Dark Messiah is one of the most hilarious and fucking awesome games I have ever played and a high quality sequel would be fucking AMAZING.
is the game bi-polar or something
they were like "Ya i like ya your cool" and [sp]"i put half the poision in your cup to save you"[/sp] then go "i fucking hate you" [sp]"I hate you so much im going to shoot into the sky to let enemies know where you are, go fuck yourself"[/sp]
Maybe I am missing something, but I wish there was more distinction between hostile enemies and neutrals.

When first got to bottle street i killed pretty much everyone before realizing that the city watch only stuck to the main street :v:
[sp]"I hate you so much im going to shoot into the sky to let enemies know where you are, go fuck yourself"[/sp]
I'm not sure what you're talking about here. Didn't you [sp]help Piero and Sokolov get their new pylon working before you set off the flare? that clears out every enemy in the level instantly.[/sp]
That's pretty much just an error on your part.

[sp]Why would you set off a flare when the area is covered in enemies?[/sp]
Just got this game. going stealth is just so awesome

[sp]yes i did, i set it to sleep mode too and not "burn everyone to ashes" mode[/sp]
I'm hesitant to get this because I'm not sure it'll run well on my PC and I just got Borderlands 2. But on the other hand, it looks amazing and it's 25% off on Green Man Gaming.
I can barely run borderlands 2 yet I can play this game with everything on the highest graphic settings
The game encourages you to not kill people because you'll get a bad rank and ending if you do, but more than half of the fucking abilities in the game are lethal. If the game wants you to not kill anyone there should be more non-lethal abilities than lethal ones. Killing people is so much more fun as well i feel like having fun in this game punishes you, there should be more fun ways and abilities to knock people out so they don't die.
Also the story is really uninteresting so far. I just finished the second assassination but i literally have no care for the story. The characters are incredibly boring and uninteresting. None of them have any character. The only person who i've seen so far that has any interesting character is the weird blind lady that keeps calling out for her birds. Everyone else around your main hideout is so soulless. Although I do like the lore and how there's so many books and scripts which explain the world and it's characters.
The graphics and environments are beautiful and the gameplay is pretty fun though, but that's about it.
Where the FUCK is Pendleton after the golden cat, I'm supposed to talk to him back at home base and i cant find him

Standing under the tower to the left when you get off the boat. He is on the ground level balcony looking out at the river.

it's like they pass out from the shock rather than the lack of air.
