the gameplay is fun, but the story and characters are so awful and boring i feel like i'm just dragging myself through the game at this point. i didn't even care anymore by the time i came back to the [sp]hound pits pub[/sp] from the flooded place. i just killed everyone i saw, including [sp]the two dull professors and samuel the boatman after i arrive at the lighthouse.[/sp]

Just did a try at the mask party and managed to kill everybody without being caught. It's really fun, sort of like the "whodunit" quest from Oblivion.
So, how many endings are there? I finished the game with [sp] Low Chaos and got the good ending according to youtube[/sp]. I heard there's an ending where you [sp]don't save Emily[/sp], can I get a link to that? And maybe the others?
This is how I did the first assassination, I wish i could go back and do it again, this was too easy
I've been going non-lethal for a while now, after watching this I totally need to do a lethal playthrough after this one.
anyone know pratchett's safe combo? I did the puzzle and the code wont take
Shall we gather for whiskey and cigars tonight?
Think you'll get a squad after what happened last night?

Can I buy anyone's ration of elixir tonight?
If you're doing a lethal overt playthrough, the first level of agility is pretty much the most OP thing ever, insta kill fucking everything through drop assassinations.
I like how they took the time to make "angry" animations for Corvo for the targets
Steam Cloud didn't sync my save. Now I have to wait 5 days to play it again...
Steam Cloud didn't sync my save. Now I have to wait 5 days to play it again...
What does save syncing have to do with not being able to play the game?
The guards seem to hate each other "Can I take your shift tonight? - FUCK YOU!!!"
"Tell me again what you're going to do if slackjaw and his bottle street boys jump you again" "I don't need any shit from you"
I completed the game but i couldn't figure out how to find any of the safe combinations i was hoping the heart would be nice and tell me it :C
i have to admit that was a great game, just shorter than i expected
What does save syncing have to do with not being able to play the game?
Well I'd have to start again. I'd also fear it'd overwrite my save at home.
oh and somehow i got a low chaos mission on [sp]the part where you have to save those 2 scientists dudes and find out where emily went[/sp] when i started cutting every guards head off
Finished it too. It was fun but indeed short. I have no desire to replay it either. I wish you could kick, there were so many times I could've kicked someone off a platform. Is there a way to adjust Blink's reach? I want to be able to boost very far for fun.
Well I'd have to start again. I'd also fear it'd overwrite my save at home.
When the synced files don't match you can choose whether to delete the cloud saves or the local saves.
I'll find you! When I find you it's gonna be BAD!! >:C

It's like a squashed sphere radius.

He screamed on the way down.
I hit max today at ~30 or so. You can always redo missions from the main menu, by the way.
I know I can redo them, but awhile ago, I cleared out my saves and I lost my ability to do missions. So it seems the game takes the latest save and uses it to determine missions.
So I'm not through it yet but I've finished Boyle's and I know what the rest of the game and the levels is, so the "normal" structure of things is pretty much over after the next mission. I read the RPS article on it and I'm completely unable to see how that guy spent 25 hours in this. I've done most of the sidemissions and explored quite a bit, and I mixed up my playstyle as well. I'm maybe 10 to 12 hours in. I'm a little disappointed in how the Boyle mission turned out, especially after that RPS article claimed it had so many awesome moments anyone would want to replay it instantly. I did, but only to check if certain things I did differently had impact. Sadly they don't. The way I see it [sp]there are 3 ways to get in: Sewers, Guardhouse, Main entrance. In each case you're neutral once you're in, mainly because the building interior is absolutely horrible for actual stealth. Once you're in, there are 2 ways to figure who's who and 2 ways to figure who to kill. Either you talk to Brisby or you go upstairs. To find out who's who you either go upstairs or talk to Ms. White. All three of these are ridiculously easy and consist of what's essentially a fetchquest. Once you figure out who it is you can extremely easily get each of em to a secluded location to knock em or kill em. Then, the only difficult part is getting Lydia from the music room to the cellar. Done. The little city part outside does nothing to the actual mission and while the duel with Shaw is cool, it's not some kind of epic moment. Am I missing something huge here or is that all there is to Boyle's last party? Cause if it is, that RPS writer is talking steaming shit.[/sp]
i feel like there was a really steep decline in quality over the course of the game. it starts off beautiful and interesting, seems like it's going somewhere, goes nowhere, and turns into an awful mess. they should have focused more on the story because i've never cared so little about the characters in a game.
don't forget [sp]sneaking around the party and stealing everyone's 25/100 coin pouches[/sp]
Or stealing the key to the whale oil room while everyone can see you clearly. Ridiculously easy.
The Boyle mission is fun because you can walk around openly and nobody suspects a thing. Also, you can stab your target in the open and bring a little chaos to the perfect lives the nobles think they have.
