It's not that bad that I have to restart the mission though, because I think I missed a bone charm I want to get (the one which shortens the mana regeneration delay). Does anyone remember where it is? I'm pretty sure it was one of the first ones I found.
The effects on the charms are randomized.

So, I kill a thug, leave his body where it lands, I leave the room to deal with the next guy, I come back a few minutes later to search for things to pick up, and his body looks like it's decayed a hundred years. What's going on here?
Yeah, the people are so fragile when they are unconcious. I put one down on a slope and it slid down, fell like half a meter and the guy died. Anyway, I did the first play through mostly non lethal and got the good (and what I consider canonical) ending. Time to play through again more violently. I might not kill everyone because there are some cool characters, but I will murder guards and stuff.
During the last mission on my first try I choked the first guard and threw him down the 1,5 meter stairs. He landed, it was noisy, there was blood, but he wasn't dead. The following turn I just stabbed him in the neck and let him fall down from the tower. [editline]14th October 2012[/editline] Maybe I should start a new game again in Dishonored now since I got stuck again in Dark Messiah M&M. My goal: So much blood.
[sp]Does the admiral tell you anything at the end? I didn't want to take chances and choked him. I gotta say, the ending surprised me. It's very anticlimactic. But that's what happens when the game doesn't force boss fights on you(good thing) and you decide to ghost/stealth the final level. Funnily, enough the betrayal pissed me off. I guess I should have expected it. I never really trusted Pendleton but to see all 3 fuckers over my body filled me with rage. That's why most of my kills happened in the next mission, having no gear helped that, too. But once I got it back I calmed down and went non-lethal again.[/sp]
If you have low chaos and possibly all non-lethal take downs (as that is what I had), you can walk straight up to [sp]Havelock and he'll say something about were you expecting a fight from him, that he knows he has done wrong and then he says either kill him or send him to prison.[/sp]

is there a cheat to give yourself infinite runes? i want to replay some missions with all the abilities just for fun
is there a cheat to give yourself infinite runes? i want to replay some missions with all the abilities just for fun
That's what I did Was not even remotely interested in finding runes so I just gave myself 1000 in cheat engine, it might have ruined the experience of finding them and slowly unlocking the powers but fuck that, I need all the powers all the time Cheat Engine
Make your corpses stay longer with this: http://steamcommunity.com/app/205100/discussions/0/864948299995594180/
thats great, now if only blood declas hung around longer than 5 seconds

Just finished this, shame it's pretty short, was really enjoying it. Steam says 8 hours, but i'm sure it was more than that. I got [sp]the high chaos ending, also did the ending where I let Emily die[/sp] May give it a try going ghost, next time.
[sp]I tought that when I'd go to the bar that I'd find everyone killed or being ambushed after the partying[/sp] [editline]14th October 2012[/editline] 'Tis be a beautiful game
That place is even more beautiful in [sp]high chaos[/sp]. IM TRYING TO KILL EVERYONE BUT I FEEL BAD. I'm not going out of my way to kill them, but if there are some guards I keep thinking I could have just knocked them out and then I feel bad if I murder them :c Also, I feel like if I am in open combat then I am playing it wrong.
There is something poetic in perusing your vengeance without spilling blood like your enemies have. I found most of the non-lethal takedowns very satisfying. Especially seeing [sp]the lord regent being taken away or finding the high overseer a marked weeper in the flooded district.[/sp]
That place is even more beautiful in [sp]high chaos[/sp]. img
Its even more beautiful if you climb the building from outside. With the rain it looks like that starwars scene.
[sp]When I got to the flooded district in my first (low chaos) playthrough, I went on a roaring rampage of revenge and killed every assasin I saw. But when I finally got to Doud, I made sure to do the nonlethal (AND INSANELY DIFFICULT BTW) mission of stealing his wallet and then leaving. That option made me feel like a complete and total badass moreso than any game ever has. His guards came running into his office screaming "Corvo escaped and oh god he's killing EVERYONE" and then that fucker knew that I had been there, but I hadn't killed him.[/sp] It feels so much better humiliating your enemies rather than killing them, turning the whole "Dishonored" thing back on them.
Hopefully with the raving reviews, Arkane will create a sequel that blows the original out of the water. I want MORE.
Yeah, but you missed out on the [sp] fucking amazing fight you can have with him, if you just waltz up and get seen by him.[/sp]
I crouched outside the room and shot him multiple times through a 1 inch thick gap He was strafing around like a dumbass trying to find me while getting more and more arrows lodged in his brain
I think it's a nice touch that the guards sometimes whistle the "what shall we do with a drunk sailor" theme
My hands are sore from all the choke holds I've had to do.
Wow, last mission is 10 times better with high chaos. [editline]14th October 2012[/editline] Also low chaos on medium is harder than high chaos on very hard.
wait, so if you throw a body over a ledge when it's unconscious, it'll count as a kill?
My hands are sore from all the choke holds I've had to do.
Shame that Clean Hands had to bug, which lead to not getting the Ghost achievement.
My hands are sore from all the choke holds I've had to do.
I gave up on this after I noticed that no matter how hard I tried, I'd always end up with an inexplicable death at the end of every mission. I made sure not to directly kill anyone and leave their unconscious bodies in safe places so they wouldn't drown or be eaten by rats or something. But apparently people died anyways.
Yeah, but you missed out on the [sp] fucking amazing fight you can have with him, if you just waltz up and get seen by him.[/sp]
I thought [sp]LET'S STOP TIME FUCKER[/sp] and he was "Nope, that doesn't work on me, bitch".
I thought [sp]LET'S STOP TIME FUCKER[/sp] and he was "Nope, that doesn't work on me, bitch".
I stopped time to sleep dart him and his guard in a non-lethal playthrough. Time stopped, and then the dart had no effect. Then he moved while time was stopped. First thing to go through my mind was "well, fuck".
Somebody needs to find out how to make Bend Time infinite until you stop it manually You could set up some pretty amazing things
Has anyone found a way for infinite mana?
