I thought you'd sign a fake name or whatever into the guest book, then I read it after signing it
no fucks given
i'm pretty sure the benefit to signing it is if you take out the woman and just her, the sisters give you a rune as a gift when you wake up and if you don't sign it then they don't know who did it
also, what is the non-lethal way of taking care of her? this is the only mission that confuses me. maybe i'm overlooking something
I just sat brute-forcing a safe starting from 0-0-0 for the combination to be 9-3-5 :suicide:
That reminds me how Slackjaw says they've been spending months trying to open Bunting's safe.
Several fucking months. To try less than 1000 combinations.
What the fuck are they even doing? Verifying each combination three times and taking a two-day break after each try?
also, what is the non-lethal way of taking care of her? this is the only mission that confuses me. maybe i'm overlooking something
[sp]One of the guests at the party asks you to take her to the cellar, where he basically abducts her. ( For her safety of course.)[/sp]
[sp]This requires you to know which dess she's wearing and that she wants to get laid by the first gentlemen who figures out her name.[/sp]

I didn't sign it and I got the rune.

There should be one guy in the party that looks like
[IMG_thumb]http://puu.sh/1eSOL[/IMG_thumb]
this.
Talk to him and continue the quest. You have to [sp]Tell her to meet you in the cellar. Follow her, knock her out, and drop her on the boat that the guy has prepared[/sp]

Just walk around and talk to a bunch of people, its hard to miss the solution.

Non-lethal way:
[sp]There's a dude at the party that claims to be her boyfriend(?) and tells you to knock her unconscious and take her down to the basement and he'll make sure she'll never be seen again. In the basement he has a boat ready and takes her away.[/sp]
I like how Martin [sp]shoots himself[/sp][sp](high chaos)[/sp]. That was unexpected

What did he write?
What did he write?
His real name obviously

That guy is creepy as fuck. "You don't want to kill her? Don't worry![sp]Just knock her out and give her to me, I'll chain her in my basement and brutally rape her until she develops the Stockholm syndrome![/sp]".

I can't play stealth

Oh, I thought he wrote something clever :(
Infinite mana is easily done with Cheat Engine.
Dunno how to make it so you don't have the search the values again every single time you restart.

I think you can save stuff as cheat tables.
Well, finished the game, low chaos ending.
The final "battle" was really, really anticlimactic.
Anyone got a Infinite mana cheat engine table?'
Nevermind i found one: http://forum.cheatengine.org/viewtopic.php?p=5415700#5415700
(AND INSANELY DIFFICULT BTW)
All you have to do is blink on top of the bookcase by the stairs and blink behind him

[sp]What did you expect? A generic bossfight?
I loved it, personally. Especially if he sees you.[/sp]

I expected a challenge. Something I had to work for to [sp]take him out nonlethally, or maybe a difficult room to push through to kill him. Something that had effort put into it, like all of the other assassinations.[/sp]
I think I killed every guard in the prison.

to make the Lord Regent shit his pants
Just finished high chaos mode in just under 4 hours.
I rushed everything, was great.
Wait - did [sp]Samuel betray most people or what? He complimented me, said I kept sight of "what mattered." [/sp] Guess it's cause I was non-lethal.

[sp]Yeah, I have to say I was surprised that he was basically in an empty room by himself. I just ran up and stabbed him (didn't even have to sneak, with stealth boots 2)[/sp]

I absolutely loved him for that. I think he only [sp]betrays you if you have a high chaos rating.[/sp]
I wish something was said about him during the epilogue scene, the way he said he'll probably drift into obscurity made me sad, and then no mention of him at all at the end was worse.
Man, the bad endings are horrible. I especially [sp]hate how both destroy the city, which is something I wanted to fix. Luckily Dunwall recovers in the good ending. And I love how my lethal Corvo was a bit bipolar. He killed almost everyone, but when it came to Daud he just stole his key and murdered all of his followers.[/sp]
He's really the only target I couldn't spare (if I had planned to spare anyone I mean). Seriously, he's got a pretty important responsibility in all the shit that happened to Corvo and a shitton of other crimes and if you don't kill him he just gets away with it.
He killed unfaithful lovers according to his journal so I spared him and almost the entirety of his clan. Getting to read his personal diary with him just standing right under me ignorantly was revenge enough, seeing as he is the "prime assassin".
