Is it just me or is this area especially beautiful. [t]http://i.imgur.com/7Sf5W.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/rxBcl.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/oNQos.jpg[/t]
I thought I didn't get detected in the game, but apparently I did in the first mission (and set off some alarms in the second). Do I have to replay the whole game to get the achievement for not killing anyone or would replaying the missions be enough? I'm thinking of replaying the game and all, but I would like to try some other playstyle instead of doing everything 99% the same way as the first time. Also, I heard the "Clean Hands" achievement is bugged somehow or something. Is that so? Looking at my mission stats, I don't think I killed anyone but I also didn't get the achievement. Does the prologue count?
Yes, the flooded district and place after that are just beautiful and a real slap in the face of just how bad the plague is.
Anyone got a Infinite mana cheat engine table?' Nevermind i found one: http://forum.cheatengine.org/viewtopic.php?p=5415700#5415700
How do you adjust your mana and bend time using Cheat Engine?
Apparently you can do this. She is only unconscious. (Mild Flooded District spoiler) http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/594732322408631060/A243C6688C389C48DD6F2D745291A0CBC034B351/
Found a way to infinitely stop time with Cheat Engine. Damn hard and clumsy way to do it though. Now if there was a way to hide the hud...

Game is wayyyy to short. Needs to be $40 at most. Seems like another run of the mill game. Fun, but tooooooo short. [editline]14th October 2012[/editline] Let's hope for a sequel soon.

I almost feel bad for those who completed the game in like, 10 hours and only found it okay. I mean sure the story could use some work, but I think this game is absolutely fantastic. I'm 20 hours in right now and just starting the final mission.

Maybe you should try exploring and not just blitzing the objectives.

I was high chaos but [sp]Samuel never betrayed me, he just said he was going to leave and not see me again[/sp]
Stupid question probably but how do I put powers in the place of crap on my "quick-access" bar. I don't use my gun or grenades or anything I just want my powers.

Goddamn, just, everything about the security structures and designs is sexy. I'd rub myself all over the rail cars and purr. It makes me want to play Half-Life 2 again, just to go sightseeing for Combine designs. [editline]15th October 2012[/editline] Viktor Antonov makes the most wonderful things.
I agree that the game was too short. My first run was nonlethal, I obtained all runes and bone charms, admittedly I did not focus on paintings, but I did all optional parts of missions and whatnot, and beat the game in 20 hours. I will probably be doing a lethal run involving me trying harder with the paintings, but still, I can't imagine that taking another 20 hours of time, so it still seems like it just wasn't as long of a game as I was hoping it would be.
I love this games credit song...
I don't know why, but I wasn't too satisfied with this game. I had quite a bit of fun throughout it, but it just didn't meet my expectations, I guess. If they do a sequel (which is fully possible because of the reception), I hope there's more content.

[editline]14th October 2012[/editline] Let's hope for a sequel soon.
Don't run straight to main objectives and just kill the target/stab everyone. Exploration and trying new ways of taking out the target is part of the fun, replay factor in this game makes it worth more than most other big titles out right now.
I don't understand how people are getting disappointed with this game. I hyped myself the fuck up for it and I still came out thinking it was a great game, but then I've never really cared about the length of a game, I care more about whether or not I had fun playing the game, and I certainly had fun playing this game.
http://www.1337upload.net/files/Time_Freeze.rar (Had to .rar cause 1337 don't accept .CT) Well, dunno if I worked for nothing, since there probably exists a thing like this somewhere at Cheat Engine Forums, but posting here anyways. 1. Start game, load the game and the table into Cheat Engine, back to game. 2. Deploy Time Bend (Complete timefreeze on level 2, level 1 gives slow-motion) 3. While Time Bend is in effect, go back to Cheat Engine and check "Time Freeze" or give it a shortcut you can use to toggle it on and off. 4. Back to game, disable Time Bend and everything should still be frozen. 5. To get everything moving again, go back to Cheat Engine and uncheck "Time Freeze" or press the shortcut. Should work :=
So does it ever say that Corvo is biologically Emily's father? I saw it hinted in some parts such as this, http://puu.sh/1f1cm, or is it just one of those things they put in the game so people could have seperate opinions about it.
I heard the game is pretty short and doesn't have a whole lot of replay, is this true?
I heard the game is pretty short and doesn't have a whole lot of replay, is this true?
If you just go straight to the assassination target each mission and just stab them, then yes it is short. If you explore and get hints about the assassination/find better ways to assassinate the target instead of just stabbing them then it's much longer. IMO there is a lot of replay-ability, high and low chaos (lethal/non-lethal) change levels and NPC interactions with eachother and you, also several different interesting ways to assassinate targets. One of the only games I instantly replayed from the beginning after beating it.

I think she sees Corvo as a father because he's always been there with the Empress and her. Even though he's just a bodyguard it's obvious he has a bond with both of them. Although it doesn't say if they were ever closer.
Me going at it again, taking advantage of cancelling the melee attack to extend the instant kill hitbox for more distance (0:25) but now I'm throwing in the usage of the gun more often. When you slash an enemy twice it builds enough "hit stun" for you to shoot before he can punish you.
