Just reached mission 6, damn this shit is incredibly hard even on Easy.
Something people tend to oversee is that if you drop a unconscious body into water or down even the smallest of heights they'll die. The mean reason I had kills when I was sure I didn't kill a single guy.
I read that [sp]choking Granny Rags[/sp] counts as a kill due to a bug.
Cheat Engine. You can easily give yourself enough money to buy most of the upgrades before the first mission. Runes are bit trickier.
Problem here is blueprints. You can only buy the default upgrades, not all the blueprint ones.
Problem here is blueprints. You can only buy the default upgrades, not all the blueprint ones.
That's why I said most. To be honest, the only really good ones you can't buy right off are the stealth boots.
This game is actually harder than I thought it would be from watching streams...
Does the game have more than three endings?[sp]i got the two "bad" endings because I replayed the last bit, one with saving emily and one without, but i've heard that samuel can betray you, which hasn't happened to me.[/sp]
Is it possible to [sp]not kill the [/sp]Pendleton[sp] brothers, without helping Slackjaw? I have both of them unconscious, but I can't find a thing like the High Overseer's brand...[/sp]
That's actually one of my only "pet-peeves" about this game. There is only 1 way to non-lethal each target.
This game is actually harder than I thought it would be from watching streams...
I played on hard on my first playthrough and didn't find it particularly difficult.
Am I the really one that developed some sort of connection with Samuel? [sp]On my low chaos playthrough, when he saved me, I went "aw thanks man" and when he said his last goodbye, I just stared at him until he disappeared.[/sp] I don't know what it was, maybe it's the fact [sp]he takes you to every mission, gives you some nice tips and is always a nice guy.[/sp]
[sp]There's a wall of light protecting a staircase which leads to 1st floor. You will have to disable it or use a rat to get upstairs. Also be sure it's the right target. I'd still go upstairs because there's a lot of money and 2 paintings there. And a key that's very useful in the next mission. There's also a "fire escape" stairs but it has a guard.[/sp] I have a question. Did someone try to continue the game [sp]without getting your gear back or taking any weapon at all?[/sp]
I did on my 0 kill playthrough. I didn't [sp]pick up any weapon after the flooded district.[/sp] Someone should try not using any weapon/lethal power at all but still kill all the targets, like by choking them and throwing them somewhere or using walls of light. The main reason I had kills when I was sure I didn't kill a single guy.
Don't forget rats.
Well, shit.
There is no adverse consequence to [sp]helping slackjaw[/sp] .
I really like how not killing anyone and ghosting gives you easy time in the [sp]Flooded district[/sp]. Almost no weepers and rat swarms. I just realized the last mission has no tallboys. Not that they are super hard, but their height gives them a good view. I guess the "hardest" mission is [sp]Lord Regent[/sp] but once you explore the level a bit all of them become pretty easy. You need to come up with your own challenges but I think that's great because some games don't allow even that.
Is this design present anywhere else in the game besides that intro?
Urgh fucking FP breaking my posts unless I'm on Chrome. What I said here but got wiped was: I think I saw one outside the Golden Cat, although it could have just been a Guard one. I can't imagine there's much use for rail carriages when most streets have been blocked off to maintain quarantine.

Maybe at the Boyle's party?
Wish there were more duels like the one you have on the Boyle mission.
I really hope the DLC is extra missions and stuff rather than cosmetic shit or new weapons. New weapons as part of extra missions is fine, but charging simply for new stuff isn't imo.

Hats for the guards? Hats for emily? Hats for your gun?
There's always room for hats
If there's a DLC I hope it will be some sort of continuation to the story. And this is Bethesda, they seem to have been selling small expansions rather than shitty weapons packs lately.
Boyle's party looks amazing, can't wait to play that mission. How far in is it?
Boyle's party looks amazing, can't wait to play that mission. How far in is it?
[sp]It's the mission after you've abducted Solokov.[/sp] So a little past the halfway point.
Anybody know whether killing thugs and gang members causes the city to be less stable?
Anybody know whether killing thugs and gang members causes the city to be less stable?
killing anybody does
killing anybody does
That seems kinda silly.
it depends on what you mean "less stable." more rats and weepers appear if you kill more people if that's what you mean
Wouldn't killing weepers lessen that number though? Because they're kinda dead? Just a minor thing of course.
Wouldn't killing weepers lessen that number though? Because they're kinda dead? Just a minor thing of course.
It's because rats eat the dead dudes and spread the plague further.
[sp]It's the mission after you've abducted Solokov.[/sp] So a little past the halfway point.
Perfect that's where I'm at. Thanks for the quick reply :)
