Just beat the game. I'm cheesed.
Beat the high chaos ending, now I feel like shit.
I was mad that I didn't expect it.
[sp]When Pendelton gave me the drink I was like "that's probably poisoned" but when my vision went all funny I didn't even suspect it was because of poison[/sp]
Hey, at least Granny Rags got her stew. That's a positive in my book.
Very dissapointed that you couldn't [sp]save Slackjaw without killing her[/sp]
[sp]Well you could sleep dart or choke her, but due to a bug it counts as a kill even though it doesn't uncheck "Didn't kill anyone".[/sp]
Very dissapointed that you couldn't [sp]save Slackjaw without killing her[/sp]
Blink behind her and strangle her ass. Good, now Granny Rags is asleep.
Okay, it's official. If you are going for Clean Hands achievement [sp]don't side with Granny Rags or Slackjaw. Just steal her key and run. You can knock her out but you won't get the achievement.[/sp] I did that and finally got it. Also this game has the weirdest guard paths ever. I always think I hid the body perfectly only to later see a guard found it. Do the guards check the power source if you take out the oil tank?
Guards search for missing guards. The best places to hide bodies are on roofs and vents no one else can get up to.
Or get that perk the disintegrates bodies.
I was a bit pissed at Daud in general. [sp]First of all the Empress is killed by teleporting assassins Once you get similar powers i wasn't sure what to think. I just think there could have been a better explanation than "Oh yeah me and all my men are with the outsider too."[/sp]
Guards search for missing guards. The best places to hide bodies are on roofs and vents no one else can get up to.
Yeah, that's the safest option. But what's weird is that in the last mission I'm 100% a guard found one of his knocked out friends, yet at the end stats I had zeros. I also got ghost and I was far from said body if it could affect it.

He just gives powers to people to see what'll happen.[/sp]
[sp]People aren't with the Outsider. He just gives powers to people to see what'll happen.[/sp]
Thats what i meant, it just irritated me.

I think I read a note somewhere in the Flooded District saying he shares his power with them.[/sp] I'd like to know slightly more about the Outsider. He should have more to say about your actions. I wish he had different monologues if you didn't kill anyone or the opposite.
What's wrong with it? I mean it was pretty obvious from the start.

But I don't know, maybe I found the key before without paying attention. And for the guards thing I think they slightly change their paths if they notice another guard is missing.
What's wrong with it? I mean it was pretty obvious from the start.
Its just that i get this power too, and the Outsider says "you are one of the few men...". [sp]Realizing there is a legion of assassins with the same power, i wanted to see how it was possible, like some kind of demonic energy drain subplot or something.. To me it just seems like a bit off a cop-out to say that Daud just gave his powers to his men.[/sp]
If two guards have their patrol paths near eachother and one goes 'missing', then the one that's still there will start patrolling over the 'missing' guard's old route. It's an AI thing, and it doesn't happen all the time (some guards are specifically set to patrol one path and that's it; story mission guards). [editline]20th October 2012[/editline] And Daud 'shared' his powers with his men, he didn't give them it. The assassins also had very limited powers comparatively to either Daud and Corvo. Considering Daud was given the same role Corvo was, then I am lead to assume that he has the same powers. The reason Corvo seems so clearly more powerful when they clash is because of this 'sharing' Daud conducted with his men. It makes perfect sense, at least for me.
Guards also go "Wasn't there another guy positioned here?" when they notice another guard missing. It's pretty awesome if you think about it, I can't remember another stealth game with such a nice AI.
Was I the only one who never encountered Granny Rags, and Slackjaw in the Flooded district?
Was I the only one who never encountered Granny Rags, and Slackjaw in the Flooded district?
Unless you didn't help them, that's kinda impossible.
Unless you didn't help them, that's kinda impossible.
I never spoke with Granny Rags or Slackjaw in my speedrun playthrough and when I got to that part, the door was completely unlocked, and no mention of them at all.
Was I the only one who never encountered Granny Rags, and Slackjaw in the Flooded district?
Nah yo i didn't run into them later on i just killed them the first chance i got
Unless you didn't help them, that's kinda impossible.
I just walked through some refugee sewers and encountered river krusts, but never saw head or tail of those two.
Just read through the thread, and I had no idea this game had side missions. Fuck. I just beat it too.
I just walked through some refugee sewers and encountered river krusts, but never saw head or tail of those two.
I'm pretty sure it's another thing that changes with low/high chaos ratings.
I'm pretty sure it's another thing that changes with low/high chaos ratings.
Nah it's dependant upon whether you helped either one of them out or not.
I really want to buy this but I'm a fucking tightwad and don't have much extra cash, when do you all think a sale might happen?
It'll definitely go on sale at Christmas and since it's got some creepy elements they might mark it down at Halloween but that isn't certain.
