I thought the vocalist for the final song could have been better chosen.
The music, tune and lyrics were great though
This game is great!
There was a bad guy that saw me but he wasn't sure what he was looking at, so I hit him in the face with a grenade so he knew what was up.
Stealth grenades.
The Flooded District feels like it takes up a third of the game for me, probably because it is so unenjoyable.
Apparently If you use rats or rat possession around [sp]Daud[/sp] he say's "You're better than that Corvo".
I hate the Flooded District, I mean it is so frustrating and irritating to get through.
That's weird. I actually really liked that part of the game. The whole journey to get back to the Hound Pits was a nice change from using Samuel to transport you everywhere. Not to mention to see the devastated parts of Dunwall and deal with Daud's assassins added to the lore.

He just ran after me shouting "I'm dissapointed". Needless to say, so was I.

"You're not fighting Lady Boyle now!"
Man I'm only on the first mission in the Distillery district and have clocked over 10 hours.
For me it feels almost like cheating when you use them.
I didn't use it, but that's because I simply didn't think it was worth the effort, not because it felt like cheating.

Really? I disabled the objective markers before I even started the game, and I had no real problems finding my way around the levels.
Anyone know of a decent trainer/cheat engine or whatever that doesn't require random crap adverts? I already beat the game twice and i want to have a screw around run.

The first time is excellent, but any other times just feels like a chore.
At the Boyle party [sp]does it matter if you kill the other two boyles?[/sp]

I don't know. That scene where you are lifted by the crane, the music plays and Daud gives his speech always has an impact on me. Then the part of the chapter where train keeps bringing the corpses is atmospheric as fuck.

If you spare them you get a [sp]Rune delivered to your room[/sp]
If you spare them you get a [sp]Rune delivered to your room[/sp]
Aww, I thought that was because I spared them all!
Just finished the game with a low chaos rating, I have to say I was impressed. If I had any complaints, it was that the game was a tad too linear in some places.
On the other hand, this is one of those games where when I made mistakes and got myself killed, if felt like it was my fault, and it feels like it goes out of it's way to reward exploration, patience and planning. And it felt awesome in the last level where I basically sleeper-holded my way through the level before [sp]assassinating Havelocke.[/sp]
I have a couple of questions though. Did anyone else [sp]have Daud blink away during the fight with him after he'd sent the other assassin away and then ask for mercy when you catch up with him?[/sp]. Also, in the final level, [sp]why are Pendleton and Martin dead at the end? I think I may have accidently missed part of the story after blinking up to the top of the light house after getting off the elevator[/sp]

[sp]Havelock poisoned them, just like he did with you. Maybe he wanted all of the power for himself, tried to get all the "traitors" killed so he'd be seen as some kind of hero?[/sp]

Honestly, think about it for a second:
[sp]Havelock possesses about him a military mindset. He probably held the mentality that if it were he and he alone controlling Emily, the Empire could rise to glorious new heights. Typical ego-maniacal maniac who thinks that he alone has the intelligence, the "bravery and honor" required to bring the city and the Empire back from the brink.[/sp]
Also, am I the only one that's surprised that the disease [sp]never spreads to any of the other islands? This is the Industrial-Era we're talking about; they don't exactly have hazmat suits and decontamination[/sp]. The Black Plague spread across half the globe, and we tried to shut that down pretty hard as well.

[sp]I'd got the impression he was a little... detached from reality at that point. All I go from his rant was that all he was sure of was that Corvo was coming for him, it was just a matter of how and when. Maybe he was paranoid that Pendleton and Martin would usurp him or betray him for you (like Samuel)? Although killing all the 'loyalist conspirators' makes sense as well, seeing as that's what he did at The Hound.[/sp]

[sp]At the start I believe it mentions that after the Empresses' request for aid with the plague the other islands had basically quarantined and blockaded off Gristol in response. Of course, whether that would work in the long run...[/sp]

in the intro [sp] while talking to Burroughs the Empress will say that the other Isles blockaded Dunwall. And also Lord Regent imported he rats to only Dunwall.[/sp]
just finished the game, i got the brutal ending when i was going for non lethal, what
Is choking them out breaking necks or did the people i killed when i had 50 people on my ass and out of lseeping darts fuck me over
Second one. Mostly because you got caught.
I hate how [sp]abruptly the game ends the moment you free emily from the closet, even without killing the admiral.[/sp]
Second one. Mostly because you got caught.
Yeah, I found you can get away with a few kills, especially if they are hostile targets.
Also i havent killed one strider thing at all, every time i try to they take like 50 bolts and still dont die and when i shoot the oil on the back the still dont die

Haven't done it myself, but the easiest way to kill Tallboys is to use a drop assassination.

If you talk to him he basically accepts his fate saying you'll either [sp] kill him or have him rot in prison.[/sp]
Still, I wish the ending was more detailed/was not as abrupt.
Is this legit?

I was going to wait until a steam sale to get this but I doubt steam will go much cheaper than this without having to wait a year
I've used websites like CJ's-CDkeys before fine so I know the general concept of cd-key websites is good, but was just wondering if this particular site was trustworthy since this is the cheapest *region free* key I could find online.
Did anyone else feel that from the start of the game due to the rat plague having only ever shown up in Dunwall it was a plot by The Regent or someone greater? I was expecting all game to get some kind of plot to explain that part of the world away but nothing ever came and it felt like it was screaming for a conspiracy type thing.

I think if you read the texts in-game it's heavily implied that the Regent/Spymaster introduced the Plague as a way of dealing with poverty in the city
