I haven't done an FP raid before but I was actually around during the time of Raloc, the savior, on wild when it was still free. You actually killed me once, if anyone here remembers Smisthson. I was the noob who was following you like HAY IR FRUM FP and then you all ganked me out of nowhere and I gave you mediums and (I think) nearly killed one of you before dying.

when is this starting in CST by the way? I am time zone retarded, sorry guys. Also that new spider model makes me very afraid to log back in on my usual account, since I made my home in a literal spider haven.

Except a very grotesque and photorealistic cutscene where the spiders rip you apart limb from limb with their mandibles which you're forced to watch because the game doesn't allow you to shut off your monitor or computer and the fear paralyzes you so you can't move or close your eyes. Nothing too major.

I'm not phobic of spiders but that spider model looks absolutely TERRIFYING nonetheless. Not because spiders themselves are terrifying, but just simply because i've never actually been to a level in wurm where I can successfuly kill one without being mortally wounded (or living at all for that matter) I mean, when you see a spider running after you on a road you're constantly going OH FUCK OH FUCK OH FUCK OH FUCK... if you have a fightskill of anything under 20 or a crap sword, so this new model only makes that feeling worse. I mean, at least now they aren't big, black, and almost insivible in tall grass... Although, the best prank would have to be putting one deep in some poor noob's unlit cave.

I'd join you guys but my character isn't on affliction, and I'm too lazy to walk across the universe. :( That and I vowed never to be in a village again unless I was in a position of power. Mainly because I don't want to be some peon slave ever again. The last village I joined the mayor got mad at my group because we took ~40 dirt from the ~5000 that was at like 80 decay in the middle of the town. (Of which we dug around 1500)

I'm just not on affliction. I don't remember which island though, I think Desertion.

I AM READY. If we get set up enough, should we make a thread in GD to summon a army of people who have no idea what they're doing? We could just wall them all off or some crap and see how the battle royal goes. Or just sand everything.

getting unable to create virtual machine error. What do, facepunch? edit: I am on an ATi card, do I need to tweak something? I know they have really bad openGL implementation.

If your computer is 64bit then you should install 64bit and leave it at that. I use ATI, and really the only thing i remember is that their vsync option causes a ton of problems. Disable vsync (in advanced graphics of the launcher), but keep framelimit enabled.

ah ok. I'll uninstall my 32 bit install of java then, although i've used them interchangably before and haven't really had any problems til now. edit: apparantly java 7 does not uninstall java 6. Uninstalling java 6 completely too. Just weird, because i've been able to play minecraft and whatnot just fine on this PC but wurm gives me problems. uninstalled java completely, now downloading the java7u5 JDK x64. Let's see if this fixes... installed outside of program files and whatnot, appears to have worked for now.
