Do graphics mods work with multiplayer (crpg)? I'm tired of staring at all the jolly greens and the vibrant blooms, I want some realism dangit. :/
No, cRPG's developers must add it in their build for it to work
Does With Fire & Sword take significantly longer to load than Warband for anyone else?
No, try re-installing it.
Also, i re-installed wf&s because my warband stopped working.
Spears are now OP. I like spears so that's good.
Got 90 kills and 31 deaths on deathmatch. So easy, especially those without helmets.
Okay, what do I do in this game? The tutorial didn't cover what I'm supposed to be doing, so all I've been doing is burning villages down. I'm confused.

.... It's a sandbox game, you do whatever you want. Kills some bandits, become a lord and go to war, travel around for arena fights, etc.
I'm so bad at the multiplayer in this. :smith:
How do I not become the first person to die in every single battle match I'm in?

Get a shield, then you can delay the inevitable
Learn how to block. At first it seems broken and impossible, but after a while you'll find it's alright and that with your new skill you can get many kills.
Deathmatch and team deathmatch are the best for practicing.

I just switched to 2h and I'm getting a bit better with it. I just really REALLY suck at manual blocking and automatic blocking doesn't seem to like multiplayer very well.
You can get away with not blocking if you know the length of your weapon.
Just step back till he attacks first and then strike as his swing is ending. Usually results in a headshot.
More like multiplayer doesn't like auto block. Auto block is gay.
I've been playing the original Mount and Blade for a few years now and finally, after a sale on warband, I bought that too. I downloaded the Native Expansion for the game and damn it's even harder than Native Expansion for the original.
Makes it all the more satisfying when I finally start becoming a threat :v:
Can anyone upload Native expansion for warband, MBRepsitory is extremely slow for me.
Mother fuckers. I just sat around for 3 fucking hours waiting for Brytenwalda to download, I install it and it crashes on start up with some error saying it "Can't load shaders" I really wan't to play this but god damn this pisses me off.
Okay a little bit of trouble shooting and it works! Pretty large map, can't wait to explore it all.
I couldn't get it to work at all, but on the other hand, i didn't have to wait that long either, so i just removed it again.
My game crashes every time I try to go in the arena. Any way to fix this?
So im playing Europe 1200 and some one tried to assassinate me, and it told me to go to some town, to talk to a "contact" but hes not there?

Love warband with tweaks though

Start doing oddjobs for the king of your favorite faction (It is important that you work for the king and not some lord who wont even let you join the faction as a lord later) and gather a small party. Later your lord will offer you a job as a mercenary captain, this means that the marshall will tell you to join you in a campaign pretty soon. Then you just have to follow your marshall around for a week or two, taking part in battles. Sometimes the marshall will give you special tasks such as stealing cattle for food, looting villages or scouting. In the end you get paid.
At this point the king probably thinks that you are such a great guy that he accepts if you ask to become a vassal. Ask to become a vassal.
Congrats you are a vassal now and you have your own fief: a village, a castle or even a city.
Now start building home improvements in your fiefs, the marshall of the faction will still call you to take part in campaigns occasionally and you might even attempt to take a few enemy castles yourself if you have a big enough army. This usually results in that castle being awarded to you unless the king doesn't like you or you just have bad luck.
Later you could try to become the faction marshall yourself, help a claimant take the throne of a faction or be a separationist and start your own faction.
The "ultimate goal" is basically to become the sole leader of calradia.
Edit: Oh and atleast in regular M&B in the camp menu you can decide to retire, this will take you to a scoreboard that shows your achievements and a small text about what you became after you retired from adventuring (for example: You became a wealthy trader or you ruled to the end of your days as the king)
Wow finished my first team captain coop with Sweden none the less.
captain co-op is fucking amazingly hard with only 8 players and you can have like what, 8 npcs each?
Winged Hussars are badass.
6. And the npc waves or really fucking strong sometimes. I think we got a little lucky that we didn't get 50 or so of those axe wielding maggots. But we did get 70+ swordsmen..
We were on profans server with 20 people.
Winged Hussars are badass.
I usually pee my pants a little when i see 40 hussars coming next.
I regret not buying WFaS when it was $3. Then again, it's only $7 or so to begin with, so I probably shouldn't complain.

There's a guy who used to be at the school I'm at who was in the SCA and his persona was a hussar.
Complete with wings.

oops wrong account
What the hell is this thread doing down here.
I need a way to get lots of money, damn it. I need power. I need everything.
And yet I'm just a fresh vassal of the rhodoks (for once).
I'm always a vassal of the Nords. Don't want to get on their bad side.
