War Horses don't give a fuck
I heard he died? I've been told that in the Chinese forum (section of taleworlds maybe?) people were actually kept up to date very regularly.
I've heard seven different stories
I keep wanting to get back into Warband but I've played Singleplayer to death and I'm looking for something new.
Recommendations?
Floris Expanded gives you lots of features which are not immersion breaking or anything like it.
Also balanced and polished.
I tried to install the Brytenwalda mod, but it isn't installing at all.
It does all the installation nonsense and extracting and that, but somehow the mod doesn't even appear in the mod folder.

Is it installed in the Modules folder? Or did it create a Modules folder inside the Modules folder?
Happened to me once.
so i'm using PoP for warband, and starting out is REALLY hard. you'll get raped by raiders and aventurer groups instantly.
the mod itself is really good though. its awesome holding out against a dread legion with an army of empire crossbowmen

Neither, it doesn't even exist.

Prophecy of Pendor is great fun when it isn't kicking you in the teeth repeatedly with giant armies of almost invincible soldiers.
Neither, it doesn't even exist.
Now that's weird. And what happens if you try to install it into another directory? Just some "New Folder"
Neither, it doesn't even exist.
It installs to c:/programfiles/warband blah blah blah. If you have a steam version verify that it just isnt installing to the wrong drive or something.

I installed it to another, and dropped the folder back in, seems to work.
Thanks.
Shameless self promotion I guess, but if you're playing brytenwalda you might install this. Makes a bunch of "new" (IE: armors you've probably never seen before) show up at smiths.

I need a better way to make money.
I'm a bard going around on a donkey, scraping cash up and for some reason I randomly lose rep.
What's the best way to earn cash and get reputation up?
Also I have 5 entertainment, and can play all 3 of the songs with my lute.
I have a problem where in multiplayer, if a shield breaks anywhere on the map, I crash. I hear the "crack" sound but halfway through it just crashes to desktop. Any idea what could be causing this?

I had this for a time. Try a few things:
A) "Verify Integrity of Cache Files" on steam
B) Disable sound variation in the warband startup
C) Set "disable_moveable_flag_optimization" to "0" in the module.ini (mountblade warband/modules/native/module.ini)

If you're talking about brytenwalda, go around Wales (a lot of people dont seem to know where that is for some reason) go from village to village town to town and buy Mineral, Silver and Stone. "good prices" would be 30-100 for mineral/silver and 10-30 for stone.
Take these goods outside of Wales and you can sell them for about 500% markup (300-400 scillingas per unit) basically metal ores in wales are really cheap because they are mined there, and are in high demand elsewhere.
Seems I can only win tourneys in Swadian arenas(95% of the time you get a horse). Anywhere else and my team gets ass stomped and I have to fend off everyone with throwing spears or a knife. Shits crazy
Well if your team gets stomped surely they dropped their weapons, and anything is better than the shitty knives archers get.
i love recruiting swadians. their elite horse archers are pure sex.
i thought the khergits had the elite horse archers
swadians have western european knights dont they?
i thought the khergits had the elite horse archers

ya khergit have the elite horse archers since they are essentially Mongols
I just hunted down one of the Counts from Swadia, which is funny because I have aided the Nords in taking all of Swadia and I even used Swadian Men at Arms to get him.
When I played my first game in warband, I joined with the Nords. I shat my pants when ever I saw a wave of Swadian Men of War charging at me.
fuck i keep crashing in blood and steel, with a runtime error.
Guys, I really thing you should check this out.
Are there any mods for Native Expanded?
That's pretty much what you're looking for. It's balanced, polished and doesn't have much (if any) bugs.
It has many features, while as said, being balanced, which is a uncommon thing for mods.
You can even choose between three options of expansion.
Basic: This is just Native gameplay with some added music, sounds and items. If want to play Native with a little extra, this version is the one for you!
Gameplay: This version is a downgraded version of Expanded, allowing people with lower computer specifications to still experience Floris
Expanded: This version contains everything Floris has to offer.
Are there any mods for Native Expanded?
So I thought it was a good Idea to leave the Seariders camps be to make them spawn small groups for hunting and training recruits.

WHY DID I THINK THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA
How interesting.
I went into some pub in Brytenwalda, and drew my bow aiming at some random guy for the jollies.
I proceeded to let the arrow fly, when suddenly the screen cut to the chat box for belligerent drunk.
It then cut to him going "The fuck you looking at?", followed by the character in the little screen being hit in the head with an arrow and falling down dead.
Suffice to say, he did not get back up.
So I take it Brytenwalda is a good mod and worth at least trying?

Ok, I have done this, and slowly but surely my armour/mount/weapons are gradually improving.
How would you suggest grinding up levels?
Anyone else play The Last Days of the Third Age? It's basically an LoTR mod that has a ton of effort put into it you can even explore the whole Middle Earth.

It's not for Warband though unfortunately.
