Just downloaded floris. Launched it for the first time to see the main menu has a picture of two knights brofisting before charging into battle. I love this mod already.

Combat doesn't look as fluid as in mount and blade.

I went like everywhere and I can't find a single one.[/QUOTE] The Picts had/used crossbows, you can find them in the pictish regions (fortriu) Crossbows were in existence pre-AD... they just went into heavy usage in the high middle ages (steel prods) but they've probably been around in simpler forms since at least 200 BC.

They drag around giant fucking armies around if you don't destroy their hideouts from time to time. They're a pain in the ass.

I beta test this and I've been in the 51'st regiment of Mount and Musket for like a year and all I can say..is that it has a lot of improvements (damn NDA). Besides, most if not all of the devs for this are the ones that worked on M&M

I like the idea, but those formations just suck. It's obvious they have not attempted to improve the AI at all. I kinda like wf&s's melee rebalance. It's much slower and there isn't much difference between the weapons so it's a good way to practice your melee skill if you're new to multiplayer.

This isn't made by the Warband guys. It's being made by the Lead and Gold people if I remember correctly. The Roses game I mean.

Yeah probably or maybe the same. I am ok with it, but i agree that it's not fair if the halberd is faster. They should atleast be as fast.

Napoleonic Wars is MM after the lead dev sold the idea to Paradox as a DLC.
