Marriages, Starting your own kingdom, extra faction, much more detailed discussion with lords, and other things. If I still had M&B original installed I could go see the differences, but I know there is alot more then what I just said, because I remember being very excited for this game. Still tho, Warband is lacking a good western style Singleplayer mod... :( 1866 was the fucking bomb.

Hmm, what mod should I use? I don't like anything too unfinished, neither do I like something overdone. Like in e.g. Blood and Steel wasn't really my style. I don't have anything against a map, factions, features change, but BS is completely different. Not saying its bad though.

Playing Blood and Steel. I went as a peasant revolutionary (Vladimir Lenin) and went through the following to establish my own nation. 1: Go to different pubs and beat up men for their money and swords. Hunt down bandits for lords. 2. With income I buy a gunaxe and shitty horse. I then go around shooting gangs of looters. 3. I slowly upgrade myself, until I have a armoured warhouse, full body armour, jezail and two handed dark kings sword. 4. Hire a hero, each one however is stripped of everything they own, and replaced with my uniform (White Gambeson, black musketeers hat, leather boots and gloves) and weapons (Jezail, light rapier and buckler sheild) 5. After building up a collection of enough hero dragoons (We roamed the countryside attacking patrols, looters, raiders, etc) and buying a dyeworks in every city we had plenty of money and resources. 6. We then rode to the city of Suno, and the dragoons dismounted and sniped the men on the walls. 7. Union of Soviet Socialist Republics is founded.

I was playing Mount and Musket, and I noticed that some people do stupid 360 spin bayonet stab crouches. Someone launched at me doing that. I backed up and stabbed him. Also what blocking/attacking system do you think is the best? I try to use mouse movement and it works ok but then I have to reorient myself each time I block. If I use keys my strikes end up going in the same direction of my blocks. And automatic just doesn't work when faced by more than one person. Also do shields make you swing slower? Because whenever I face a 2h guy, he always outswings me.

Then, swing your sword from the side that is closest to him. By the way, is anyone here interested in a meetup? I would gladly arrange an event on mods or native. -And if you are, please tell me your the mod you would most like to play. A selection of good multiplayer ones are: Kengeki Gaiden (anime style action, but [i]very[/i] fun.) Mount and Musket 1866 (Action coming from the wild west) WW2 China battlefield Full Invasion (coop survival) Battletime (allows people to drop in campaign battles)

Really really really want native expansion to come out for Warband

It does get boring after a little while.

Always thought like, the single player but with like, co-op or something to that effect would of been great in this.

Is there a good singleplayer mod for any time after the late 17th century? (When bayonets begin to be stuck on guns and pikes fall out of use)

The mood of the game changed dramatically for me once I finally ended my vassalage to Harlaus and became the proud king of the last Sarranid city (it was intense fighting a massive Sarranid army with 120 Knights.) Still I'm surprised I didn't do this sooner, I'm at level 40 and just begun forming an empire.

So guys what are your opinions on With Fire and Sword? I think it more or less looks like a rather big mod instead of a new game judging from the trailers, but I'll probably buy it anyway. [editline]28th April 2011[/editline] Also the complete pack sure offers a lot of fun for its price!

Pre-ordered immediately. As long as cRPG stays on Warband, I think I'll still be playing Warband more often though.

Dunno about it, I think it might lose the feel I love about Mount And Blade, I know all the mods I tried that added firearms killed it for me when I tried them.

old Mount is worth it for 1866 alone.

Well this is slightly annoying. I've been wanting M&B Warband for a while, and I find out today that it's 80% off (3.99 GBP). I would love to buy it, but I don't get any money in my paypal till monday, and the sale ends on sunday! WHAT DO?!

Can someone tell me why Fire & Sword is cheaper then Warband? Is it worth preordering you think or should I just buy Warband?
