I don't know, but each time i take a castle of Swadia or such, 3 factions instantly go to war with me. Anybody know how i can prevent this?
Just a tip, cRPG is not noob friendly at all, it's your average MP mod where the rich gets richer and the poor gets poorer. I've played cRPG for over 2 years now and that's been holding true for the entire 2 years.
What's your IGN?
I don't know, but each time i take a castle of Swadia or such, 3 factions instantly go to war with me. Anybody know how i can prevent this?
Its best to take a castle when the kingdom is at war with multiple factions or be rewarded them from the king (if you are serving under them). What I did was made my own kingdom in the desert and took the 3 very far castles away from everyone else so the only people who could attack me were Sarranid Sultanate, but they were being raped by 3 Kingdoms at once so they basically left me alone as I took their keeps for my own (they ended up making peace with me without conflict). Next I recruited characters in taverns and made them my vassals and gave them towns and castles so now I have my own little kingdom that is doing very well in a very naturally defended place. So now I all you have to worry about is good trading and getting people to recognize your rule.
I took Veluca from the Sarranids. It wasn't very well defended. Little did I know that it was the wealthiest town in the realm at that time: [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/594717523637382451/3E271A386A086FF12D8DD2E1598C4BE503DB7443/[/t] :pwn:
Not really, you get lots of gold for better equipment fast, although the levelling(and managing to actually get kills)curve is pretty high.
I'm mostly talking about how all the players that have played for a long time have every single of their equipment pieces heirloomed to +3 along with a moneypool of over 1 million gold to easily pay upkeep for anything they might decide to wear, even full plate on a plated charger with a Danish GS with a German GS on their back, for a full generation and still easily have over a million gold left when their generation is done. [editline]30th April 2012[/editline]
What's your IGN?
I've used shitloads of ingame names. I don't know when you started playing so I don't know which one you might know, if you started playing recently, the only character I really play (Which by really play I mean play like once or twice a week at this point) would be Execration. Hell, I'll just make a list of all the prominent characters I've played. I've been going under Borealis, Patricia, Kristina, Execration, Oggrog, Amethyst, Opal, out of all my characters, those are probably the most well known (Not that they're really known as I only play a few days a week and usually on the smaller population servers like NA Community).

I think if they stay under sequestration for a while you get a bit of a wealth overflow.

It's just the king i'm serving under, Sultan Hakim practically never goes to war, thus i can't help him in wars and as such can't gain his favor, so i'm never actually gifted a castle or territory.
Nothing I can think of off the top of my head, but Europe 1200 is pretty fucking huge.
Yea, I just mainly wanted to expand the original world because I have a save file I really like on it. 1200 is a nice mod though, I've been using that one for as long as I can remember.
is the dyeworks and that shit something from a mod?
nope, talk to the merchant guild master in any major town [editline]30th April 2012[/editline] ask to set up a private enterprise
That's a tax buildup. I think if they stay under sequestration for a while you get a bit of a wealth overflow.
Yeah, I noticed that after the second weekly budget. I talked to the Guild Master and it really was the wealthiest, though.
I think I like With Fire&Sword better than Warband.
no you dont
After a long build-up of renown in Prophesies of Pendor, I got 2/3 of the cities in the D'Shar principalities after a spectacularly short campaign. I now field 167 Legionaries with enough left over to stock both of my cities with ~200 Bladesmen and Legionaries. Considering how I tend to have about 10 followers at any point, I'm considering breaking from the Empire to form "The Legion"
What does Honor do? Does it make people like you more, does it increase the amount of troops you can lead at a time? Also does having a high renown cause more villagers to sign up when you go recruit from villages? I've noticed that after a few hours of play I can start getting fairly large amounts of villagers.
isnt it like warband but just missing a lot of features? i didnt even download it because of what i read
It takes place in Easternmost Europe during a conflict between Russia and Poland. It's pretty much a mod that you pay for. I'd recommend buying it only if you either don't care about spending money or if the setting fits your particular niche. Some people just really like Winged Hussars. [editline]30th April 2012[/editline] Oh god the companion chart in the OP is so fucking horrible. Try this: Each companion dislikes the companions on either side of them (Example: Borcha dislikes Deshavi and Klethi). If you wish to maximize your number of companions, you can choose 2-3 from the top circle and 4-5 from the bottom circle that are not touching. The two-way arrows indicates companions that like each other, which can help balance dislikes, increasing the effective limit.
what happens when companions dislike eachother anyway, everytime one of them has complained to me about the other I just tell them to shut the fuck up and keep fighting.
what happens when companions dislike eachother anyway, everytime one of them has complained to me about the other I just tell them to shut the fuck up and keep fighting.
if they really dislike the way shit is going they'll say they're gonna leave. and then they leave.
Hey guys. Siege Durrin Castle. Just do it..
I also demand to know why
Que?
I'll do it as long as it doesn't have to be native [editline]1st May 2012[/editline] You start kinda far away? [editline]1st May 2012[/editline] You walk in through the main gate?
Is durrin castle the huge fucking fortress on top of of that desert mountain? Even with my intensely overpowered 10 leadership character I have no been able to take that for with 80 Huscarls and 80 Rhodok Sergeants. (Against a 210 garrison, mind you) If half of your troops manage to survive the never ending hail of arrow fire coming from Sarranid Master Archers on the way up the mountain, they'll spend the next 10 minutes being shot in the back by archers firing up from the courtyard. And if you fail to take the castle in the first wave, your reinforcements take another 5 minutes to climb the mountain to get to the ladder.

Yes, normally that works really well, but there is no "first wall" in durrin castle. There's only death
Is Diplomacy Mod up to date with the newest update and save compatible?
I love how I can block a multiple strikes from a guy, on a horse with a spear, by just having a sword and holding down the thrust block (blocking downwards) to stop every single attack. :v:
So how is the DLC holding up after release. Lots of people playing?
So how is the DLC holding up after release. Lots of people playing?
Yes. Double yes.
