I love how I can block a multiple strikes from a guy, on a horse with a spear, by just having a sword and holding down the thrust block (blocking downwards) to stop every single attack. :v:
I love how people don't seem to know this in Napoleonic Wars...
Yes. Double yes.
I couldn't find any servers for it when browsing via the normal Warband server browser hence why I am asking. I figured I could at least see the servers.

Just bought Napolneonic Wars. Let's see how it is.
Is there any mod that makes it so you don't get stuck on friendly npcs? My own men basically trap me and cause me to die during a seige, and it's rather infuriating because there's no way to push them out of the way, and I don't want to have to order them to move and then wait a minute while they bustle away from the wall they're defending so I can get stabbed in the back.

Spear and lances can only stab on horseback, and according to the game, they're just the same regular attack as any other stab so you can just downblock them.
Cav can compensate for that with their couch attack though.
God I love this game so much. I've been captured and lost 80+ men about 7-8 times and there's no better feeling than getting back on your feet and whooping his ass next time around. I'm a vassal of the Kingdom of Rhodoks and eventually I'm going to break off and take over a city somewhere.
Rhodok sharpshooter lineup with sergeants in front of them are really powerful.
As long as i dont lose my dosh, i love scouring the world, tracking down old companions and commanders

I wish my companions would stay with me after being captured more, though. Sometimes I get a guy to escape with me, but it is a pain to get all 10 or so of my super troops back together every time I lose.
Almerra Castle always seemed a bit of a pain to take. You are forced to march your men into a courtyard to go up the ladder while being fired at from every direction.
I fed my army on nothing but butter for 5 days.
How does that even work.
your men are now very fat
I'm simply struggling to boost how many men I can take. I can take about 90 now, but is the only way to increase my capacity the leadership skill?
renown also works
I'm simply struggling to boost how many men I can take. I can take about 90 now,
Why did I giggle at this.
God damn my dirty mind.

As a mounted soldier your supposed to look for and attack the people with their bows/crossbows/muskets up their ass not paying attention to anything.
Frontal attacks with a horse, even against a dude with a short sword are dangerous

Easiest and quickest way is to just track down companions and force them into leadership skill.
Grunwalder Castle is also quite difficult to take, there is a wall along the side of the ladder that you can sit your archers on and half of the attackers die before even getting to the top.
I'm mostly talking about how all the players that have played for a long time have every single of their equipment pieces heirloomed to +3 along with a moneypool of over 1 million gold to easily pay upkeep for anything they might decide to wear, even full plate on a plated charger with a Danish GS with a German GS on their back, for a full generation and still easily have over a million gold left when their generation is done.

I've used shitloads of ingame names.
I don't know when you started playing so I don't know which one you might know, if you started playing recently, the only character I really play (Which by really play I mean play like once or twice a week at this point) would be Execration.
Hell, I'll just make a list of all the prominent characters I've played.
I've been going under Borealis, Patricia, Kristina, Execration, Oggrog, Amethyst, Opal, out of all my characters, those are probably the most well known (Not that they're really known as I only play a few days a week and usually on the smaller population servers like NA Community).
I play for 2,5 years Mount & Blade, cRPG when it first came out as Myth after that I renamed to Thovex, I now lead "Merciless" and had been leading "The Risen". Which are both EU clans.

I only really know who you are because you're on the forum, I don't participate on the forum ever since my Patricia forum account got permabanned for stupid shenanigans by Meow.
I remember fighting a few EU players on the EU duel server but I don't remember ever fighting you, so I know nothing about you outside of the forum.
How can I increase my army size fairly quickly? I'm at about 100 men and some of the other armies dwarf mine.

The cap provided by the Leadership skill is really annoying.

If you win some more renown battles, like defeating a large amount of enemies by yourself, you can slowly start to keep more people with you.

Could also be that mixing intense grinding with M&B's easily exploitable combat mechanics inherently causes problems.
I have a feeling that all the crazy spin bayoneters in Napoleonic Wars come straight from CRPG

They probably do, though quite frankly, I've seen a shitload of that in Native duels now, there wasn't any of that shit before and it was strictly cRPG.
I like to call them the wizard class, they try their best to summon tornadoes but they don't have the mana because their jumping back fleetfoot spell is always on, so instead they just whack you in the face with their wizard staff and robe of armored destruction.
I've played cRPG for like 2 years now and I really refuse to end up as a wizard, I dislike spinning, it makes the game look retarded, I try my best to not exploit the broken combat mechanics of the game so I don't spin, I don't jump back and do 360s, I don't exploit hiltslashes and so on.
You're not at a noticeable disadvantage if you have the same skill as them, it's only really retarded having to see them just training for their next circus show and getting skewered by the chainsaw haft of polearms, notably long spear and pike.

hammers are not c-rpg exclusive and also not overpowered in my opinion.
Also, my take on the spinning stab is that it's impossible to stab someone while hugging so thats why people stab the other way and turn back around.
That's why i do it, but i hardly ever use it.
Back in my day, another player looked you in the eye when in a duel, I tell you what. There wasn't any of this spasm spin bull-honky.
Hammers are really OP in SP if you have high prisoner management. I had about 2 killed and 48 wounded or somewhere around that area in most battles on a high level character in one of my SP saves.

Turning into your stabs is fine, spinning and doing full 360s or 720s or whatever the fuck else are not, this is just retarded.

Yes, Nohj, I remember these good old times too.
Oh god I just fucked up. I was assaulting a castle and all my units got murdered. This was on realistic saving too. So right now I have a band of twenty recruits, all my companions are either MIA or imprisoned, and my fief was burned to the ground. This game hates me.
