I would love that! That's how it works in battle mode in multiplayer when bots are turned on, as well.
^ i agree, nothing sucks more than having killed off pretty much the entire enemy army, and then like "u sorta lost a bit" because of a stray lucky arrow from a rhodok sharpshooter.
I saw some mention of somebody working on aspect of a mod that was a pretty cool idea - becoming one of your common soldiers when you are wounded so you aren't just sitting and watching the fight (or instantly retreating, but p. much everyone has battle continuation on), something I had thought would be very nice in some situations before.
not sure what the name of the mod was. but i want it for everything.
Sounds good. Pretty much like captain coop/ playing with bots online.
Quick Cash for Brytenwalda:
Hunt shit
Sell its stuff
Use the proceeds to get a better bow/arrows
Repeat
After using TweakMB, I've taken to extreme cheating. My party went from about 100 Poor Cossacks to over 600 mercenaries, Hussars, and other elite soldiers.
I only use TweakMB to change the party and prisoner limit sizes to something a little bit bigger. As well as increasing the maximum recruitment number for villages when you're liked by them.
There are not that many good singleplayer mods for warband.
I like single-player a lot better, but it seems every mod tries to be a multiplayer mod.
I swear there were more total conversions for the original m&b.
I wish cavalry was more effective in mount and blade. They're very useful but prone to bum rushing straight into the enemy and getting surrounded.
Not if half your army is cavalry, it'll surround THEM.

yes, that was the very thread.
i am getting that mod.
Gotta love King Harlaus. After he lost his kingdom due to excessive feasting, he invested his wealth in building up a huge restaurant chain. He is now more commonly known as the Burger King, and he already runs most of Calradia.
WHY HAVE I NEVER HEARD OF THIS
I thought it was a cheat for the longest time.
WHY HAVE I NEVER HEARD OF THIS
Probably because the game never tells you it. It took me almost 250 hours to figure it out on my own.
WHY HAVE I NEVER HEARD OF THIS
I've been playing the game for four years now. I had no clue either.
Battlesizer is pointless in warband. Find the rgl_config.txt file in your warband documents and there's an option near the end of the file for battle_size or something. Change it from 1 to something like 2 or 3.
However giant battle can make some sieges almost impossible.
Collision checking in this game seems to be very expensive, because 1000 units fighting in a feild is absolutely fine and dandy, but as soon as they all try to climb a ladder fit for 1 person at a time the game practically freezes.
Are 1.143 warband modifications compatible with the 1.134 version of warband?
I've played lots and lots of Warband. Can anyone suggest some good mods? Overhauls, tweaks, whatever you've played and enjoyed.
Oh, and are there any graphical enhancement mods?
I remember saying this a while back but it I'll ask it again, since a lot of the players here don't really want to do the whole "realistic line battles" thing. Why not we make our own Regiment? Just to have some fun messing about in the online games?
I'd be interested, the last regiment I was in took things way too seriously and as a result the battles were never fun.

What do you mean by 'too seriously'?
Do you mean they were re-enactors in how serious they took things, or they just wanted you to follow the rules of line battles?
I already run the 22nd Oceanic Drop Bears (part of the Reddit Battalion (yeah yeah, I know, but it's a good way to get organised)), which isn't really up and running yet, as we need more people, so if you're in Oceania and want to play Napoleonic Wars, hit me up with a PM including a link to your steam name and I'll add you.
I know the SADragoons are pretty damn big, the reddit battalion will probably get big too. I am in the 49e, and they are pretty cool. We play DayZ together as well.
Sultan Hakim is an asshole, I've captured over 5 castles for him, and he didn't fief me a single one.
The only fief he gave me was some village called Uzgha which is always being raided/very poor.
We should set up a steam group if anyone is interested in this regiment thing for Napoleonic Wars and general Warband MP fun. Would just need a name. Suggestions?
Which Mount and Blade game has the most players online playing it?
Warband.
Man, fuck the Swadian jousting tournaments, that shit is terrible
