Ivan Barbash (With Fire and Sword) is a pretty cool Cossack leader. He gave me two castles and a town, all at my request. I would guess that helping him take the Cossacks over in a rebellion was a factor in his decisions.

Took over the Tsardom in Fire and Sword - holy shit, handing out fiefs is a bitch. Whenever I give someone even the smallest village, he likes me a bit more, and about 10 other lords start hating me. Is there supposed to be a system here? I've tried giving to them who had nothing, and to the most powerful ones, to my worst enemies and best friends, and I can't understand why everyone gets so fucking pissed all the time? (and God forbid I might give one to myself, Jesus Christ, I have never seen so many negative relation-points)

when starting up Brytenwalda, on the loading screen, i get the error "get_object failed for texture: Casa_beban". I've ehard brytenwalda is very fun and am desperate to play it, so this is kinda buggin me.

Go into your options and make sure you've turned "lance control" to "manual (easy)." All the npcs in the game couch their lances with those settings, whereas the automatic setting couches really slowly. Press X to couch in warband when you hit a good speed on horseback. Couching delivers upwards of 300+ damage to everything.

None of them are the stuck up dickheads I quite often see now in line battles and some public servers, and none of them are childish basement creatures that feel the need to say "lolxd so funneh!!!1" in chat.

Do 1.143 modifications work with the 1.134 version of warband?

I know how to fight on horses, but it ends up just being me and one other guy going in circles.

the worst combat mechanic on horseback with one-handed weapons is when you move mouse up and hold m1, really short range and hard to land. stab is best imo.

I find that it's best to swing right for guys on your right and left for guys on your left. It's easy timing since you just have to ready the swing and release it when the guys right around your horse's nose.

Rate/comment on the one you like; 1. 41st Facepunch Regiment of Foot [Rate Agree] 2. 55th Facepunch Foot Regiment [Rate Disagree] 3. 22nd Facepunch Line Infantry [Rate Funny] 4. 39th Facepunch Line Bastards [Rate Winner] 5. 69th (heh) Facepunch Infantry Division [Rate Zing] 6. 31st Facepunch Line Infantry division [Rate Informative] I'm not really good at making up names for things like this, hence why they are very simple. Hell, I don't even know if Division is the right word to use at all. Anyways, as I said, rate on which you like or post your own suggestions. The numbers can be mixed around.

Started to get good at cRPG a bit, though I fight at range and try to piss off cavalry. I started with bows but crossbows seem to be superior right now with just focusing on strength and two handed weapons.

What the fuck is with that "balancer" in cRPG, stacking always clan members into one team and random pubbers into another? Is it really looking for banners to throw into same teams?

Yeah it promotes clan versus clan battles. Admins can turn it on and off though. edit: Listentening to The Book of Five Rings audiobook. It's kinda cool noticing how many of Musashi's tactics i've developed and used on my own while playing online. Most of it is pretty obvious, but i rarely encounter people that play like me.

Go into taverns and recruit tonnes of Mercenary Crossbowmen and use them to garrison the castle. They are terribad in melee combat, but they are excellent shooters and can inflict really bad casualties from headshots.
