Love that you can loot weapons and equiptment on the battlefield in 1257 AD mod. Really makes freelancing a lot of fun since you need to go and earn your bread by running through crossbow fire to pick up the weapons from fallen knights and mercenaries.

How many troops do you guys generally use to take castles? I swear I remember taking them with relative ease in the past, but now I find my troop of 100 quite well trained slavers loses against the two castles I'm trying to siege.

hey guys what up im looking for a sweet singleplayer Warband mod but i dunno which ones are good im using Brytenwalda atm and its pretty fun but is there one largely focused around Rome? or anything fictional or asian maybe i tried Shogun but it has buster-sword and like a million bugs so no ty

I know there are and some ancient themed mods but I'm not sure about a singleplayer campaign

i was downloading PoP last night and the .zip file decided to break i hate mbrepository, 25kb/s ok

I wish you could easily tell if the mod is compatible with warband on the repository. So many good looking ones. (1866, Starwars Conquest, WWII China Battlefield)

What do you do in Single Player? Nobody offers quests, all I can do is kill bandits and deserters.

I thought I was doing quite well for myself; took Reydevin from the Nords for the Vaegirs all by myself (had a garrison of about 250 and I had 100 men aww yee). Got a rent of about 20,000 from it, then a week later no less than 10,000 nords come back to retake it. I need to do [I]something[/I] about the fucking nords. They've taken all of the Swadian city, and all but one Vaegir city.

one time i had an "army" of 37 huscarls and myself defending a castle i took for my own so id become a new faction against 348 swadian troops only three huscarls died. why is defending sieges so easy?? not to mention Huscarls are -the- best units in the game, they take down anything with ease, even Swadian Knights

Last siege defense atleast 70% pf the enemies casualties was from my 2 handed maul standing slightly off to the side of the ladder, 20% was archers, and the other 10% were the 2 huscarls standing in front of the ladder.

How do Huscarls do against heavy cavalry? I have an army of 100 various forms of armoured lancers/knights/slavers/mercenaries but I'm a nord so I never get to take on a force of huscarls.

I can only assume that I got so much rent from it because it kept changing hands or something, before rent could be paid? I don't know.
