Completely new to this. Is 300 denars too much for an engineer? I've only got about 950, but I don't know how much engineers are worth.

If you have a higher looting level (mine's about 5) you can get 18 or 19 cattle in one go, if you're lucky. It's a good way to make a quick 1000 denars. Also once you're higher level and have more goons under your command, you can plunder and raze fiefs, although this majorly pisses off the kingdom and the lord of the fief.
Or win tourneys. So many tourneys.
I need to sneak into a castle and rescue some dude, but it's fucking impossible. I have 21 dudes and we just get fucked up by 50 ultra powerful troops that become hostile as soon as I enter.
Or win tourneys. The good thing about tourneys is that you get a lot of cool moments, like when I used a hand-axe to knock a guy off his horse and started using it while mounted.
Key word: Sneak.
I need to travel to the castle, and the whole area hates me.
Long as you've got a bit of pathfinding you'll be okay ...You did train someone in pathfinding, yes?
Long as you've got a bit of pathfinding you'll be okay ...You did train someone in pathfinding, yes?
I don't even know what that is. [editline]7th July 2012[/editline] I didn't know you could train people.
do that with 5 knights against 5 looters and the knights will get fucked up
Seriously? Does the game at least take your troops levels into account?
I don't even know what that is. [editline]7th July 2012[/editline] I didn't know you could train people.
u gon get hung
I fucking hate Napoleonic Wars, it's fucking hard as shit I can never get off a bayonet stab without getting killed by some guy goddamit
You gotta spin around like thirty times man. ~~Pro strat~~
playing as redeemer on US 1 official battle if anyone sees me
I fucking hate Napoleonic Wars, it's fucking hard as shit I can never get off a bayonet stab without getting killed by some guy goddamit
Commander battles are where it's at. There's a whole lot more manly volley firing and less sissy ballerina bayonet twirling.
I have no doubt playing in a regiment will be more fun.
Hahaha, me and Wealth + Taste played in a regiment together, as France (in every game), he was already in it, and recruited me, it was a casual regiment with about 8-10 people in it. It was about 15 minutes before a game, and we got about 10 minutes of practice in, with everyone following orders pretty well, but we were fucking around generally, kicking each other and making jokes, the CO was some 12 year old kid with an annoying voice who put damn before every word. After practice, we went on to the server and tried playing seriously, and we got into it, the first battle we got into, EVERYONE died. The CO (the 12 year old) died and hadn't respawned yet, so the 2nd in command was Wealth + Taste, we were lining up at spawn saying Wealth + Taste was in charge, and he got mad, started cursing and rage quit and left our teamspeak server. We all shrugged it off and went into battle. Everyone noticed an immediate change in quality of the leadership, and we won our first battle, I died though, and a couple others died to, to where it was like 4 people left, they went into battle again and killed a few but died. We all lined up at spawn and went back into battle, this was conquest so we were trying to capture stuff, and we got to a hill that had like 20-25 russians on it, so we all decided to get a laugh, and we ran to them, surrendering. (get it because we're french hueheueh) we were slaughtered :(. Then the game ended and we went to a different server. We tried to do a semi-serious line battle but it was a pub server so nobody was doing it, we died horribly. It was a one-life server so we were all dead for that round. Over the course of our deadship, we decided we'd all go calvary and attack their artillery post. (their artillery almost won the game before). We did, and we ran and murdered all, and it was about 5-6 people left in the game, one calvary and the rest on foot, we killed the cav by blocking him off on a bridge, and we one by one killed the infantry until there was only one left, who was at OUR spawn/artillery post. His name? General Custer. So we reenacted Custer's Last Stand. He died. It was glorious, the whole server was cheering us. When that game ended, the map changed, and while the other people were dead, and me and others were dealing with Custer, they decided we'd do a musical band to the battlefield. This part I got on camera, and I'm going to upload later. All of us were either Drummers or Fifers. We ended up walking to the battlefield, but we all stopped to go to a house that had a piano in it, and we beautifully played our instruments, until one guy got off-key and we decided to kill each other. And so ends tonight's story of the Bad Baguettes.
And so ends tonight's story of the Bad Baguettes.
Which regiment are you in?
The Bad Baguettes. Since that CO ragequit, we're starting a new regiment. We'll be recruiting from FP actually.
I'm down to join.
The Bad Baguettes. Since that CO ragequit, we're starting a new regiment. We'll be recruiting from FP actually.
Do you guys play the bought version, or the iMortaluZ version?
Do you guys play the bought version, or the iMortaluZ version?
I'm with Eeshton, we played with the bought version from steam. Wasn't aware there was a pirated version.
I'm with Eeshton, we played with the bought version from steam. Wasn't aware there was a pirated version.
Yeah, pirated version has a working multiplayer for all the games.
The Bad Baguettes. Since that CO ragequit, we're starting a new regiment. We'll be recruiting from FP actually.
I would'nt mind joining
If your that poor I don't think you will be able to do any sieges, thus making an engineer useless at this time.
I've been playing this game for about two years and ive never heard that you could BUY engineers. What the hell.
I heard a projectile coming my way and thought I could cheat my health to avoid dying. But nope, it had to hit the back of my neck and somehow I survived.
