hey guys if i want mount and blade warband do i ned to purchase mount and blade? also for multiplayer do i need nepolian wars?

Napoleonic Wars just lets you play multiplayer in the 1800s with muskets and cannons and other things.

The player can also be engineer if he trains up those skills iirc

There's so many things wrong with the siege system.

There's so many things wrong with the siege system.[/QUOTE] The only real problem is the AI is too goddamn stupid to push through the front with shields, so instead they stand on ladders like imbeciles trying to pick at the frontline defenders, and as a result the defenders get an enormous advantage. I say the AI is stupid but in reality, this is what I see from players when I play sieges online too

Is it a good idea to have a mixed army of people or just spam a couple of uber units?

Well, the regiment running the sunday battle cancelled for some reason, so it looks like the bad baguettes will have to fight another day. It's alright though, since half of our guys had to cancel for other reasons anyhow. We'll probably go to tomorrow's battle, though.

However, if we get enough Europeans in the group, I'm sure we can get some euro line battles in for you guys.

Just an FYI but playing as skirmishers or irregular infantry in general is horribly boring. You always just pick off units doing random skirmisher stuff, basically just hanging around trying to scare off other regiments and then when the end of the game comes along you get massacred because you have the melee skills and weapons of a 3 year old.
