That said, IRL with a matchlock (let alone a flintlock) you can [I]expect[/I] to hit a human-sized target at about 50 yards so Napoloenic Wars they are a bit less accurate than they should be. If you want to shoot at people, pick the Rifleman or Light Infantry classes, they have better shooting abilities and rifleman have accurate weapons. Line Infantry is multi-purpose and Foot Guard troops are geared towards close range combat.

Anyone know how I can make mount and blade run smoother on my shitty laptop? What i do not understand is i managed to get it running on my netbook with a 900mhz processor but this laptop with a 1.4ghz does not run it as well on the same settings.... Its as low is it can go. Dx7 10 on textures and it still wont run beyond 20fps. Is it because im running windows 7 instead of xp like i was on my netbook?

How do you kick out a lord working for you in your kingdom? (Exile them or w/ever)

so i got this the other day and have been having some fun and i saw cRPG in the module list thing so i looked it up and tried it out what the fuck is the point of it? i've played a few hours of it and got to level 10 or so and from what i can tell it removes all skill from the game and replaces it with "my number is bigger than your number because i've been playing longer so i win" seems you can't do anything until you level up because everyone has super high health, damage, and good equipment

You can go full plate armor with a flamberge and I'll kill you with nothing but a wooden practice sword. [editline]18th July 2012[/editline] A build usually starts becoming viable at around level 20, that's about when you're able to kill people (If you've got the skills). What's your build and what build are you aiming for? You won't go far with an all out of whack build either.

God I hate getting killed by someone with a war cleaver. Just because I know they're feeling like they're good at mount and blade after each kill. I have to hunt them down and personally humiliate them so they they know possessing a war cleaver and a left mouse button does not equate to skill.

They even felt that way when i always played with (the shiny new) nord troops. Maybe time has shown their potential or warband has made them better :v:

I always have Rhodoks as the butt-monkey of Calradia. A lot of their villages are quite far away from the towns so It's exceptionally easy to pillage and plunder them with no recourse from the nobles.

How come the floris mod is so insanely difficult? Fucking 30 Deserters/Bandits just attacking me while I'm in villagers, at Day 2. None of my troops even have horses yet because they get absolutely raped as soon as I hire them. I've never gone up to enemies, I just get legions of them chasing me in the morning when I try to leave.

Wow so I was playing the demo and the time limit ended. I was doing pretty well (For once) and decided that I'd really like to continue. I Googled Warband serial key's and found one in the description of a Youtube video. It worked, surprisingly. Game's really fun, though I made a huge mistake siding with the Rhodoks and now the Sarradin's and the Swadians rape my ass every ten minutes. There you have it.

Yeah, really. Warband has a demo (which is a lot to say since 95% of games don't) and it costs like 4 bucks to get the game.

I persuaded a friend to get Warband a few weeks ago and he just hit 220 hours played. I don't know whether to be proud or ashamed. :v:

In Napoleonic Wars dlc, I like playing as the Russian partisans because it's fun trying to adapt to the random weapons you get. I got the tree branch club and I managed to beat someone to death with it. Such an accomplishment with such a humble weapon.

Another highly underrated partisan weapon is the [URL="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wS2Q3xC0lt4&t=3m38s"]long pike[/URL], has a reach of 240. People always drop it because you can't block with it, but the thing is literally a sniper rifle. You can stab people in the face from like 5 meters away. It's like, the bane of all cavalry, too
