Does the Warband demo have multiplayer? [editline]30th April 2011[/editline] (i want to try it out for myself)
No.
Is anyone else somewhat annoyed with M&B THEN M&B:Warband AND THEN M&B: Fire and Steel? Not only does it make it hell for modders (at least, I think?) it also ends up costing around $65.
There is absolutely no reason to buy the original M&B. M&B Warband contains all the features, but with a lot more.
Unless you want the best mods ever created.

If you play the game for the ultimate sandbox game you dont really have any concerns.
Mount and musket Is by far the best mod I have ever played, It is just so much fun having huge 60 player battles... By any chance, Is Europe 1200 any good?

Also I highly recommend that 1866 mod for the original M&B the guns handle and sound really great and theres a heck of alot of content in it.
the beginning of the game sucks then you get a lance
ENEMY BUSH 200 METERS NORTHEAST This is what most contacts in tvt actually are.
Go play Age of Chivalry
What's that supposed to mean? How do I get my party's moral up? I have like 30 people and some keep leaving :saddowns:
Get varieties of food, dont recruit hostile factions/bandits, dont have too many numbers unless you can handle it
Just bought the complete pack that includes a pre-order for the new one coming out. :3: [editline]30th April 2011[/editline] I haven't played any of these since one of the first versions. My expectations are high.

Just pre-ordered. I haven't regretted buying the last two, so hopefully it wont disappoint..
FUUUU Right when i reach a town im supposed to loot i get the "Time limit reached" thing cause im on the demo. But I'm definitely getting this tomorrow. [editline]30th April 2011[/editline] Or tonight. I love my mom
i keep getting 1-shotted in crpg
I never even bothered to look at this game until recently. I saw game play videos and everything and this game just looks so brilliant. It feels pretty bad when you don't have any money and the complete bundle is on sale but I guess I have to stick to the demo until I can get money.
imo, Fire and Sword just looks like a mod :(
I've got this mod for the original that makes the world map look more like a map than an actual world - where the grass isn't just grass, you've got all sorts of lines and stuff, like on old maps. I would very much like this for Warband, but I can't seem to find it. Does anyone know if there is such a thing?
still can't fucking believe they made you purchase warband separately. it's exactly the fucking same except with multi.
I think it actually looks pretty good
So, I love the gameplay of Mount and Blade but I'm not sure exactly what to do. I just kind of wander around. What is my goal? Also a question. So there is no difference between M&B and Warband besides Warband having multiplayer? Then why does M&B exist?

And it's like a sandbox RPG. You set the goal. Do you want to get rich and retire? Start trading and building stuff, recruiting people to defend you. You want to be a famed knight? Get fighting, join a faction, or make your own! There are so many things you can do!

The original mount and blade is product of a 3-5 year open beta that a lot of people play and a lot of mods where made for. Warband was released about one year after the Mount and Blade release and is sort of like a stand alone expansion. I think it's safe to say that if you don't care about mods you only have to buy Warband.
Oh, I do care about mods. I bought Warband cause it was more recent. I don't have enough for M&B now.
I just bought Mount and Blade(the normal version), and I've just been riding around aimlessly looking for shit to do for people. Combats fun, but i've seen my friends play this and create armies and more. Point me in the direction boys.
Blood&Steel (fun, hundreds (literally) of new items, balance revamped, and a load of great tweaks) 1755 (No new features, but it has Muskets and a map of America) Europe 1200 (I hate 1257 AD, crashes every 30 minutes- this is more fun and bug free) Prophesy of Pendor (if you are hardcore and are willing to put in 300 hours on a single campaign) Sword of Damocles (Keeps native factions, and adds a whole new island with 5 new factions with new items) Bytenwalda (a less hardcore mod, but much more satisfying in the early game) Age of change (did a search, and i shat myself when I saw the quality of the 110 new items - also, troops are tweaked so the Rhodoks and such don't get fucked over anymore) Hundred years war (what it says on the tin- really fun.)
Thanks a lot. :3:
