I have, in the original M&B. Took the Swadian supplicant, took Swadia and then slowly wiped out everybody. Khergits were a bitch.

Rhodoks are at a disadvantage against nords because nords have good shield abilities. The mainstay of the rhodoks is basically crossbows and glaives; neither of which are particularly great against nord infantry.

Though when that town had 180 nord huscalrs in it, I hauled an army of 160 rhodok sharpshooters with me, and we just decimated the huscarls. Had to attack the place like 4 times though to get more bolts for the sharpshooters inbetween.

Then I am doing something wrong because I joined Swadia as merc and now they only have one city and two castles left while Rhodoks and Sarranid Sultanate rules half the world. :v:
As I mentioned however, I am obviously running M&B Warband and Floris. Also I am trying to create my own empire, if that even is possible in Floris, hence I am just an merc.
Swadian Knights dominate Khergits.
Also, I'm playing with the nords in my savegame right now, I used to ally up with the Vaegirs, but they only had two major cities.
Now Nords are at war with the Vaegirs and they only have Narra and a castle :v:

The problem is when the Khergits start their dodging on the horses. It's not a big deal if you can take out their horses quick, or get them in the first charge. And they really don't do much damage. It's just a [i]bitch[/i]. It's like swatting a really, really quick fly. Eventually you'll get him, and he's not much of a threat. But until he dies, he annoys the fuck out of you.
I'm rather excited about Bannerlord,any news on it?
(for those who are uninformed Bannerlord is the subtitle of Mount and Blade 2)

"Harder" start choices just prolong the start game while just going for impoverished noble lets you start vassaling from the bat.
But you can always do everything regardles of start choices, only renown and cash matters.
How different do things get for women?
I'm considering the insane idea of making a female only army using captured and rescued farm wives.

In native, it means less fiefs and harder to get in a royal family.

Swadia tends to get owned in Floris, usually because they sometimes start off at war with several of the other factions.
It is possible to make yourown empire in floris.

Thank you! I will try that. It seems that it is harder to make money in Floris. Swadia seems to be very aggressive, they was once in war with 3 factions at once. Seems that they are going to loose now anyways because they only have 3 castles left, and I taken one of those castles so it is easy for them to take it back.
I do not know what is best when creating an own faction, to have many factions or as few as possible? I guess as many as possible so they can have their disputes with each other and not just attack my faction. It depends what happen with all the lords when a faction loses. Do they dissapear or join the other factions?
In fact now that I recall so, I had the most successful run in Warband playing as a woman fighting for the Rhodoks

Prisoners are a good way to make money in floris. When creating your own Kingdom, to pick a castle/town etc to take over, pick one that is owned by a faction that is at war with several other factions, so that you don't end up getting their entire army descending on you before you have a chance to build up defences.

When a faction gets wiped out, the lords split up and go to other factions based on their own loyalty and friendships.
Right now I'm making my character in the likeness of Gary Oak, and I plan to have an entire army of sword sisters once I save enough peasant women.
