For the record though prisoners are generally worth a lot more as resource points. At the start of the game (as an orc or uruk) the majority of your income will be coming from capturing prisoners and selling them for resource points.
Too bad that TLD keep crashing and made corrupt saves and what not. Last time I played as evil I almost got sympathy for the baddies cause those freaking Rohans can outrun literary everything. I wonder how you recruit ents/trolls by the way. Never figured that out.

Did you use the default M&B or did you use the M&B Enhanced client (that solved pretyt much all my crashes)
Seriously, fuck Rohan. I started as Isengard, an Uruk, and started my little mini-war against neutrals and scouts. I made them fear the wolves of Isengard. ...At least until the bigger groups of not-green cavalry showed up. Wolf riders are great against infantry and okay against small groups of weak cavalry. But holy fuck are they worthless against anything with some power.
I used to love 1.011, but after playing so much warband this past year, the animations just look weird and the games so archaic looking :v:
I loved M&B 1's music. Warband has some missing tracks.
Downloaded TIL. Uruk in Isengard- wow, this is really hard. I hate how you start naked with no money.

blocking, especially manual blocking is just weird

Uruks are pretty tough, you're forced to play infantry. Playing a Haradrim - or other humans aside from maybe Umbar - is much easier, and probably a better choice. Or an Orc, since you can still ride Wargs.
Although honestly anything that isn't fighting fucking Rohan is a cakewalk compared to those bastards.

And is this kind of weird that Rohan got literary every city destroyed when they would be able to tank the shit out of Mordor, Moria, Isengard and everything. Wait... sieges are done by foot... thats why Rohan got pwned. Also, the king might be silly and stupid.
That is also an annoying thing in TLD, no lord do anything. And you cannot besiege anything by your own.

They're working on sieging towns yourself now, and they actually straight up admitted they hadn't balanced everything. Rohan's strength when it comes to sieges is stopping them before they get to the actual siege part, and their king regularly interrupted Isengard's sieges on one of their cities for me. We'd win every time, but usually they'd take out enough Isengard troops that everyone would go back to town to build back up.
I think Rohan and Harad would have an equal battle, to be honest. Rohan has superior cavalry, but complete shit foot soldiers. Harad has pretty good light and medium cavalry and fantastic archers. Their infantry are pretty powerful, too. They're also expensive as fuck.
Ah I figured, man I have already put tones of hours in this mod and now I am wanting to replay it. As a dwarf. However there is a reason that this game is called MOUNT and blade. I would probably end up with cheating myself a pony. :v:
Thats funny how the dwarves and elfs have a sort of mini war that make you able to attack dwarves as elf and vice versa. Also, when playing as evil, deserters, tribal goblins and other neutrals just attack me and ignore other evil parties. Neutrals even join the evil in battles!
In some areas that ends up being beneficial. In the early game, having a pack of useless orcs and goblins to throw at your enemy gives you more meat to drown the scouts with. Later on, when you've sacked a few towns and there are hardly any scouts or even patrols where you're at, the packs of feral creatures provide a decent source of XP for new troops and occasionally some stuff to junk.
How do dwarves play? I've always loved playing dwarves, but I backed off it when I remembered they didn't have mounts and I wanted to try my hand at the usual M&B domination.
Wait, what's the name of this LOTR mod? I want to try it out, also is it for Warband or regular?
Regular, The Last Days. http://www.moddb.com/mods/the-last-days
The install takes some work, though.

Never played it, I played as a elf. To gain favor for the dwarves I try to did lots of quests, but one quest was to escort a caravan that ended up with that caravan following me every single where cause I could not tell them that I was done escorting them. This because I could choose to either attack the caravan or leave it.
Alright, got a quick question here: Do you keep your fiefs and castles after you leave a kingdom?
Nope
[editline]27th October 2012[/editline]
You can try emptying the garrison and then try taking them over really fast.
I wounder if Missi Floris are any good. He costs 20 000 denars :/
How would I go about editing my army? I've played this game to death and now I just want to stuff about.
You can cheat more XP/gold quite easily.
Also there's an edit mode, you can access it in the launcher IIRC.
Is Native Expansion supposed to be fucking impossible to play or am I just a big dumb baby?
I dunno perhaps you can expand on your question.

I didn't find it hard, actually if I recall correctly, it was pretty easy. Best route to go is to get some manhunters.
That feeling of temptation when you're on a platform/ledge with a teammate and he's standing close to the edge
8 minutes of me dieing, shooting people and generally doing bad.

Is M&B worth buying just for the mods?
M&B is worth buying just for M&B.
While I agree, I think he has Warband already. So he's asking if the M&B-only mods are worth it.
