Mount&Blade (Warband too) thread V. Knights of Calradia - Games

I have to ask, is there any mod that adds new gameplay features? And by that I don't mean new weapons and stuff, I mean stuff to do, like more quests, some crafting system? I don't know something that gives the game a different approach. I've played both WB and M&B for over 160, and I've gotten a little bit tired of the: New character, do quests, join tournament, recruit fellas, hunt down bandits, join/make faction, fight lords, rule the world. I do remember the SW mod, but it usually crashed :/. Anyone knows any kind of mod similar to what I'm looking for, if there's any?

So I was thinking of getting into Mount and Musket, but I don't have a mike. Is it strictly necessary to have one, or could I just listen in and follow orders?

All you need is TS3, ears and a functioning brain so you can listen to orders.

Should I buy Warband or just wait for Fire & Sword? I already have M&B but Warband seems like it's just more of the same whereas Fire & Sword adds a new map, items, game modes, and just more overall. Mostly asking the guy with the review copy.

I've played many different mods on the original m&b tho.

Wow Warband is so much worse, either that or my game is bugged. It takes DAYS to find / catch up to a Lord. Fucking ridiculous. Why aren't they ever where they fucking live? And most of the time I only catch up with them at the capital because there's a fucking tournament, which I have to enter to finish the damn quest.

You're probably doing it wrong, I don't have that problem at all really... or I don't see it as a problem.

i don't like warband just because the game is alot more buggy to me. Most of the textures begin to turn invisible/rainbow colored after a while of playing, but doesn't happen in the original.

the only problem i have with chasing lords to give a message to is that they travel so much faster than i do.

Played the Fire and Water map in MP with 100 peeps Jumped a horse off the main tower Landed on a guy, knocking him out I survived The horse didn't Today was a good day

Whats the key to travel around the map faster? might help all the newbies and their angst

I am starting to get really annoyed by warband now. There's only 2 mods that don't crash right after installing or while playing.

4 gig, but can only use 2 on xp i believe. It's not ram. It's not my cpu. It's not my gpu. It must be my drivers and the game colliding. And i can't change that. At lowest settings it runs as hot as on medium to high settings.

Ok I'm having a better time finding the lords I need, but holy crap there's a lot of looters and shit in Vaegirs. I bumped into 44 of them at once and died :|
