Blood & Steel v1.5 released, and it's as glorious as ever.
I'll download when I actually know what I'm downloading.
Everytime I see PoP's map I always look back on how bad of a job I actually did on it :v:
Did you design the world(where the countries would be, geography etc) or do the aesthetic map there?
I'll download when I actually know what I'm downloading.
Trust me, Blood and Steel is a great mod. One of the biggest changes in the mod is the class system. It lets you pick what you want to specialize in and how easy the game will be for you. A next huge addition is the hordes of the undead. They roam Calradia at night and are a bitch to deal with (fuck flesh golems). There is also a lot of other changes like everyone having more units and other settings and enemies. I highly suggest you download the mod, its really fun (Im terrible at it though).

But damnit I really want New Vegas: Ultimate, and I don't know that they'll put it on a bigger sale, so I'm waiting until the last minute, 'cause it's $20 right now and I have just enough, but if I buy most anything else I won't, and Goddamnit I hate not having money. Edit: Wow okay I need to give it a few minutes before I start posting after eating a candy bar.

The last time I played blood and steel, it was awful. The models were sub-par, even for M&B standards, it played like shit, and had the usual "Japanese Heavy Armor" for women.
Cav Charges literally knock people out.
Did you design the world(where the countries would be, geography etc) or do the aesthetic map there?
I redesigned the entire map for 1.7 I think it was. The one they had before mine was really unpolished. [editline]27th December 2012[/editline]
if you designed it, the only problem I see with it honestly is that the Yatu plains is uninhabited, I realize the need for it story, and everything - wise but it's just a lot of empty space that really cuts it off.
yeah I tried to see if saxondragon wanted another faction to be put there, but he said just leave it.
I think it looks very good, been trying to design my own one for some kind of fantasy universe I want my stories to take place in but I'm really bad at it.
same shit here, god i'm terrible at making maps
So I tried the Blood and Steel mod for Warband. What. The. Fuck? I don't even
^ that... it seems like a total joke mod :v:
well fuck i started a chain reaction huh? it was...fun, it was just unrealistic, unbalanced, and a little frustrating. it did seem like a joke mod though.
Well I don't know what I did but I had a power black out, started Warband up again and noticed my character's lost all his clothes and he's back to level 1 from level 25. Uncool dude, most uncool. I guess it's time to start a new game.
B&S is a hilarious mod. A Bloody hilarious mod, mind you. But when you have the ability to field a 300vs300 battle and form a 150-man single line of muskets, order them to hold fire until they are ~100m away from the enemy line, then command to fire at will, things will get better. At least until you face a horde of bikini-cladding Vikings and you forgot to control your laughter.
I thought it was cool until I saw all the female armour.
You are all right about Blood and Steel, its a pretty funny mod.
when i load up blood and steel i just break out in laughter until i close warband i just cant stop laughing
Thanks for advising me not to download BNS. I'm getting Imperium Romanum now.
Tried to play Blood and Steel. Got raped by a 500 man Undead army Probably the worst possible M&B mod ever.
Tried to play Blood and Steel. Got raped by a 500 man Undead army Probably the worst possible M&B mod ever.
Its hilarious seeing all those little ghost guys with the huge red clubs gangbang you into submission.
It's annoying because I want to give Brytenwalda more of a try but its hard because its such a cluster fuck and there are so many nations and oh my god what do i do
I tried playing native, went completely with Merchant skills. my ass got raped by sea raiders.
Tried to play Blood and Steel. The mod was fun because its more of a dynamic Sandbox than the long winded peasant-lord generator of Native.

Flesh Golems are fucking ridiculous to deal with even with a huge army of well-trained soldiers.
Its a shame they aren't only in Mommy difficulty. Flesh Golems are fucking ridiculous to deal with even with a huge army of well-trained soldiers.
I used cheats to see how effective the undead were. Managed to raise an army of 150 "Royal Horsemen" from the Swadians, and 75 "Swadian Sergeants" (who are less-effective Men At Arms). 75 Skeletons, 30 Ghost Dudes, 40 Skeleton Riders, downed no problem. Flesh Golems? Dealt 400 damage per hit and wiped out my army. 5 of them FIVE Shit mod.
Looks like you should've brought more royal horsemen bub
