Flesh golems are piss easy. Get a double barreled Dragon and unleash the gunpowder on them, they go down in a few shots. Trying to fight them head on is a guaranteed suicide. I never bothered to level up some filthy peasants from local villages. 200 Rhulg Destroyers + 100 Rocketeers (cost me under 100k if I remember right) and I am able to massacre shit. [editline]29th December 2012[/editline] B&S amplifies everything by 10 and throws it in your face and I love it. It may not suit for most of you who seek very balanced and fair gameplay (I think B&S is pretty balanced tho, if you know how to play, that is), I do enjoy occasional massacre of my army and then the rebuilding of it. You just need to be extra careful not to run into massive armies unprepared. You most definitely can't do shit with 150 men as one guy did. As you notice, lords already have over 1k units in their parties. The mod doesn't waste your time by being a lowly peasant working for lords. It levels you up fast and throws you into massive battles right away.
In Blood and Steel my army consists completely of Matchlock Men. Just sit them on a hill and watch motherfuckers drop like bird shit.
Trying out the Hundred Years War mod.
Good single player mods that are not blood and steel/brytenwalda/floris mod pack/SnDs polished native/Prophesy of Pendor? Finally tired of playing normal Warband, where should I start with mods? Preferably multiplayer mods that don't completely change everything, just add more. Also in my boredom I've found that charging the enemy with your sword raised above your head then dropping it on the ground just as you start to swing is always a good way to confuse the ennemy. Last match half the players dropped their weapons and started punching each other.

[editline]as[/editline] It's not multiplayer, but it's still great.

It says there's [sp]45 days to doomsday[/sp] and I don't know if there's some specific thing I should be doing to stave it off or not die

I suggest you play the easiest first to get a hang of the features and additions of the mod.

There are also holy templars to counter them, but they're only one party. You can see their towns east of Vaegirs (one) and south of Sarranids (four).[/sp]

Do whatever you would do in Native. Rack up troops, buy enterprises, raise reputation, join a faction or create your own and be prepared for the horde. They aren't impossible to defeat, not at all.
I was going to join a kingdom to get a fief. Is that gonna cause any problems down the road?
I'm sure it won't.
Okay I found [sp]Marnid and recruited him for the "super aleph" he's got or whatever[/sp], however I don't see it in my unit list or on his person. Does it just show up in battle? I hope I didn't waste 50k... [editline]31st December 2012[/editline] OH GOD I FOUND IT How do I best use this? Anything special I need to know?
This is my primary MP character. I usually play Napoleonic Wars. Anyone guess what his name is? ;)

It doesn't even get halfway to touching the enemy's army by the time a battle is finished because of it's speed.
By the way, if you are planning on taking or defending castles, I suggest you buy a siege shotgun. It costs a lot and you cant move while reloading, but its well worth it when you can take out 5+ people at at time with one shot.

All right more blood and steel crap: I entered the [sp]city of light[/sp], but there doesn't appear to be anything there. Do I have to beat the big bads first? Other than that I'm biding my time waiting to attack them. Any suggestions? I can field a few hundred firearmed men and it looks like I might have a chance with a critical mass of firearms (and maybe more war machines)

Are there any mods that's compatible with 1257, like the Diplomacy mod or Floris?
Uhm. It already kinda has diplomacy built in, Floris wouldnt work because of the general changes, it's such an overhaul that I wouldnt recommend adding anything more.
I wonder if there is a Norman invasion mod, would be cool to fight in 1066 and the resistance that happened afterwards.

It's a pistol that acts like a shotgun, and has a quick reload. You can also use it on horses.

Funny thing is I got one of those "nest of bees" ming rocket projectors from rocketeer(elites), and I have that + cannon ammo + double barreled dagon + bullets. But when I fire my shotgun now, it shoots explosive ammo, so yeah. Got a bunch of rocketeers, too. I guess I'm going to look into sieging back some of those darkness castles, but they're not too much of a problem yet. I still feel safe.
Does anyone want to form a small squad (5 people max) to take on Napoleonic Wars multipliayer? I intend on having a mini regiment, so about three riflemen/standard infantry with a flag carrier and fifer/drumer.
