Nothing like winning a good fast-paced duel where everything is a blur and you have no idea how you managed half the blocks you did.

Up attacks always get me. I always fuck up the block somehow, not because I don't know what blocks it, but because I end up putting up a side block by accident. Poor muscle memory.

Bloody Rhodok Crossbowmen, I lost 2 of my Vaegir Marksmen because of them. Granted, each of those killed about 50 of them, but still, argh. Still awesome to take castles with a group of 30 men, 15 swadian knights, 15 marksmen and a bit of tactics.

I've played so much melee in warband native that when it comes to NW the only people who surpass my melee skill are twitchers and exploiters.

Does anyone know where to find not crap weapons in 1257? Every city I go to only sells variations of the war cleaver as their top weapons.

I know all that, but I need some kind of unit that uses blunt weapons.

Manhunters use blunt weapons. Other than that, I can't think of anything that definitely always comes equipped with blunt weapons.

My tactic in F&S is just raid villages and hire lodsa mercenaries so screw that :v: Currently, I'm playing vanilla warband. I'm waiting for the sultanate to make peace with my kingdom, but they want their city back. As soon as there is peace I'll raise a fair army and conquer another of their cities, using said army as garrison. It's a slow process, but the cities won't get re-conquered.

god I fucking hate those winged helmets does anyone else prefer great helmets much more?

I like the "huemes" or whatever they're called, ones that look like old style knight helmets.

I like winged helmets for my companions, so I know who the fuck they are, but other than that yeah I prefer great helms.

Did some mercenary work in Italy for a while now every major faction is suspicious of me. How do I fix this?

Make your own realm by conquering the several Pagan factions throughout the Baltic region and form a Kingdom greater than those around you. Go ahead and do that.

So what SP mods are flavour of the month now? Haven't been keeping up.
