Does anyone else in Warband just start as a trader, buy income places in towns you come across, wait till you get recruited by a king (with a fief of course), and get a ~100 man army that pays for itself and fuck shit up?

Out of curiosity, is there a way to just have giant ass battles without actually going through the story?

Maxing out EVERYTHING with importing is scary. I ran like 100 mph punching and killing everyone with 1 hit i took on a entire castle and won. I was naked and only had fists. :wtc:

Anyone know why my "log" goes blank? Like, the thing in the bottom left of your screen which shows if a castle came under siege, or sir dickface did this or that. It's also invisible during combat, so no reports of who's getting killed by who. Anyone else ever had this? Should I re-install the mod I'm using, or is it unrelated to that?

Are the animations in warband for attacking completely different from M&B? Maybe I messed it up with a mod or something.

No but some mods use different animations.

Well, I just took over the entire kingdom of Swadia and made Lady Isabella Of Suno it's leader in the fierce rebellion we fought. This is 'nilla by the way, what should I do now. I'm the marshal of the Kingdom of swadia, and I get lods emone from all my enterprises and fiefs (I own like 6 castles and 3 towns). The nords keep waging war with me and now the sarranids have started raiding my villages. So, what do - I have 50 swadian knights itching to kill something. [editline]2nd May 2011[/editline] Coupled with a few mamlukes, some backup huscarls and a shitload of rokkie sharpshooters. That and I sent like 15 companions out to spread the word of me striving for kingdom, and I managed to make 2 lords defect - a swadian and a nord.

I remember in the original M&B it was nearly impossible to keep up morale if your army gets large enough. Is that the case here?
