How do I join a faction in singeplayer on F&S?

I have mixed feels on F&S so far, I'm sort of liking it. I want to join the cossacks when I can. They seem to manage okay without me, but thats why i dont want to play Captain because i'll get fucked

Had this Lady that really liked me (46+ rep with her) and then this guy comes along and within 1-5 days she gets married.... Damn you Brother of the lady for not letting me get married!

I haven't played the other mount and blade games besides the demo for Warband and I absolutely love With Fire and Sword. I really want to join the Cossacks but god damn how many more letters do I have to deliver for these guys

This game is awesome. Bought it on a whim because all my friends told me to and I am not disappointed at all. Never been a huge Mount and Blade fan but the musket classes are so fun. Picking off people with my musket or disrupting them with grenades is great. Still gotta learn how to melee though.

I'm wondering if I should get this new version, it looks cool. Might go find some pictures/videos first.

Lol, the cossack leader kept giving me missions every time I asked him, so i got my rep up to 20 something within 10 minutes or so

Does anyone know how to recive an order you've placed with a weaponsmith? Every time I try to talk to him again it just says "You have not yet collected your previous order!"

Things they removed in F&S: - Tournaments - Female characters - Backgrounds - Easy recruiting - Angry viking faction - Pretty much all the cool things Things they added in F&S: - Guns. Which are basically just super crossbows. - Some silly hats I guess?

what are you idiots going on about this was never meant to replace warband, or be warband 2, or be a mod for money. It's the old fire and sword converted to the warband engine with improvements thrown in. It's your own fault you're disappointed when you expected too much from it in the first place

I'm enjoying it thus far, the units seem to be much weaker particularly the cav.

If you pick up an additional gun, why should some unseen force prevent you from changing firearms rather than reloading/swapping to a melee weapon? Such server rules confuse me.

Is F&S worth it or should I just get Warband.

After having your backside handed to you by some deserters you find yourself without a horse or a sward with only a musket for company. Then some bandits catch you......

Oh, and muskets are fucking boring compared to swarms of arrows overall. Especially bandits with muskets.

I'm not really bothered about much of the removed stuff apart from the more limited, constrictive character creation. Heck, in multiplayer it becomes obvious that they haven't even modelled the new armour and uniforms for female bodies.

It's easier! recruit them in tarverns or in merc camps. I've always hated going from town to town for just a handful of people. Also, anyone else noticed the higher resolution graphics AND better frame rates at the same time? I can play with 400 people fielded no problem now. Anyone else noticed that the horses seem to have worse graphics in F&S compared to Warband? The F&S horses seem blocky. Enjoying it so far though :v:

Hmm, Does anyone know where I can keep my equipment in Warband? Like, Is there a place I can put my stuff into so when I need it I just go there and put it into my Inventory?
