The word's xenophobic
Thank you dear, I knew it wasn't the right word to use but it was as close as I could think at the time.
Mount and Musket mod simply rox, 125vs125 players within line battles :)
So is With Fire And Sword worth getting if you already have Warband? I heard it's really buggy.
Get Warband, it's much better because it has a lot of good mods (most of them are better than Fire and Sword, which is basically a mod too), and most, if not all of the mods will stay with Warband. IMO even the vanilla Warband is better than Fire and Sword

Don't. It's not worth it.
For singleplayer, get Prophesy of Pendor, it's an absolutely solid mod, everything's new, and some features are even added, including formations and voiceovers, although the voices are not really good.
For multiplayer, cRPG and Mount and Musket are the shit.
Mount and musket is basically with fire and sword.
I mean, they even use the rifle animations for pistols, and it's fucking awkward.
The community is shit. [sp]Like me.[/sp]
Although the Taleworlds community has never been anything more than shit. Except some of the modders of course.
I said 'hi' in a server with 77/124 or something people, and I never got a reply. Instead I got people talking in Spanish, Polish, Russian, whatever language there is.
Well all mount and blade community is shit, except mount and musket I'm guessing
So I joined a campaign, and it says to follow his army. So do I just wait until he does something?
Not necessary, just follow him around long enough and eventually it'll say the quest is complete.
I might be thinking of something else though.
Wait until he sets off and does something, follow him, if he requests that you join in on something then do it but otherwise, leave the fucker to his business.
Holy shit, raided a castle. 61 wounded, 5 dead for me, for them, 140 killed, 40 wounded.
[editline]8th May 2011[/editline]
I didn't even aim, just slashed everywhere to kill them.
[editline]8th May 2011[/editline]
How do I heal unconscious soldiers, just wait?
[editline]8th May 2011[/editline]
What is this shit. I hold significant estates my ass.
where the fuck is my custom settlements for warband
can someone convert it? i don't care about permission, do you know who i am
Has anyone tried making a party out of a bunch of heroes and leveling them up and giving them good equipment?
I thought heroes always lowered your morale? My first hero in the town bitched and bitched about how I stole from the peasants. I finally stole his clothes and sent his ass back to Sargoth.
Yeah, but I think if you only have heroes, the morale decrease from them clashing is balanced by having a smaller army.
I had a great group where I basically just got ~10 vaegir archers then like 5 heroes and trained them to be tanky mofos with plate armor and I just stationed them infront of the archers and they made a great barrier that wouldn't die really.
So I 'tried' out Fire & Sword.
First, I tried to recruit some troops from villages, then I learned that I couldn't actually get some lads from those hellholes. Then I went to a fortress, town, castle or whatever. There was absolutely no way to identify which was which. I then went to random taverns where I recruited mercenaries. The guys from mercenary camps were useless early on.
I also learned how not to rush headfirst into a fistfull of fags with muskets, they can kill you in one hit and I swear their AI's a fucking aimbot when you're on foot.
Call of fire and sword. Search up Jose Rizal, you'd be like him.
Then I started the Polish storyline, as I was attracted to winged hussars, only to find out that the quests were broken, because I offered to help the king with some shit to get on his good side and some jobernol lobcock, ninnie flycathcatcher hussars didn't actually have those fucking awesome wings on their backs.
On the map, there were shite huge blobs of land that were absolutely empty. And you could create a mobile fort, which would then appear as a wagon on the map, but the wagon itself isn't animated at all, so you're moving across the map without actually having to rotate the wheels of your wagon, you're probably carrying it then. Badass. Then there's this send a caravan feature which is completely OP. You could earn truckloads of money in a few days.
Oh, and battles still end when you die, and it's very troublesome as you can easily die when shot with muskets.
There was a feature however, which I thought was awesome. You could kill NPCs. And those tanky invincible as fuck horses are gone, and pikemen do damage relative to their range.

Cute.

Oh, and I tried to pick a fight in a tavern, expecting it to be a duel of some sort. I just figured what exactly it meant by that when I got gangbanged by three guys spawning on all sides.
[editline]2[/editline]
Also tried to partake in an epic shootout while robbing a rich guy. Tried to sneak through the gaps behind buildings, turns out there's an invisible wall. Fuck.

The solution is to always have a shitload of different food types. I can have armies over a hundred who still have maxed out morale because I'm a walking feast with +99 to morale. Make sure to get a few spare horses too so it doesn't slow you down.
Well, I'm going back to Warband. I've had enough of being one shotted by peasants bearing handmade firearms.
So did anyone try that coop mod for Warband? It goes something like you play the game normally, singleplayer, but whenever you engage in a fight (Doesn't matter if it's just some bandits or a big fight like a castle siege) you can host it up and let friends/random people join in and help you. And it actually counts the victory/loss as if it were a normal game.
Finally get enough to get a fancy handmade weapon, later lose a battle and get captured, find out you lose it.
All of my hate.
I own senuzgda castle, derchios castle and dhirim, which is bang in the middle of every faction so i'm deciding not to make my own faction for now lol

Gotta love fair fights..

The game has become incredibly boring because after doing a few special missions nobody will offer me any more at all, I can't seem to join a faction I just can't find an option no matter who I talk to. The only missions I am able to do is crap like delivering letters and cattle. I have +40 relations with the leader of the Cossack Hetmanate and I can't figure out how to join them.
I've been wondering around the map for hours talking to 20+ leaders, couldn't find a single worthwhile task.

eventually the faction may start recruiting mercenary generals (you) for a quick +12 nation relations boost, which is a lot if you want to join a faction, they'll also pay you weekly and invite you to some quests

It actually is fair, Your Enemy is Polish :v:
If I captured a Polish city and then joined up with Sweden, would they let me keep it?
You can open up Warband Mod Tools (which also works for F&S) and select a musket or pistol you have and change the ammo count to 50. That way you can shoot 50 times before reloading. Not really fun if you're busy playing legitly but it's cool to try once and then change it.

So being from a different country than you makes them bad people?
